Desilting of pump house from inside, periphery and approach pathway to the pump room caused due to heavy and increscent rainfall/ flood, which has resulted in accumulation of sand/ silt and other unwanted material thus causing heavy damage to the installed existing electro mechanical components. The job further involves clearance of sand, silt and unwanted material from inside the pump room. The electro-mech equipments inside the pump house has to be disengaged from their respective positions for the purpose of cleaning of silt/sand accumulate beneath and surrounding the equipments. After cleaning and washing the walls and floor of the pump house and then placing and fixing the components in the respective positions. Further removing of wooden blocks, bushes, stones and pebbles from periphery and along side the approach path ways. The job has to be executed by engaging labour and necessary tools and tackles. The job also involves throwing away of wooden blocks, silt, sand and stones and other unwanted materials away from the pump house at certain distance from the site at a suitable place. The job has to be executed by way of engaging labour/ handcart and other necessary required tools and tackles. The job further involves cleaning of electro –mechanical equipments from the outer surfaces as well as inner surfaces including all the small components hosted by the equipments. For cleaning purpose cotton, dhoti cloth, oil and specially recommended chemicals is to be used. The complete job involves cost on account of both skilled and semi-skilled labour, cost of materials used cost of necessary tools and tackles required, hire charges and carriage charges. Servicing of 175 H.P (2 nos.) motors by way of opening of side covers then extraction of rotor & stator. Cleaning the stator and rotors, drying the windings using heater/hot air in controlled way so as not to damage the windings due to heat for two to three days intermittently and then applying two coats of varnish and drying each coat by hot air process. Fitting the rotor and complete greasing of bearings properly. Fitting the damaged cable ends at motor side after repairs and then thimbling them properly by P/F of copper thimbles of required size. Servicing of 3cusec x 90m head horizontal casing pump set coupled with 175 H.P motor, 2 no.s by way of dismantling of the pumps, de-coupling from the motor and suction delivery lines at site, P/F of new gland packing 10mm dia with nuts, bolts and rubber sheet after cleaning the gland bushes and gland plate sets, applying sufficient amount of grease including gland packing to avoid excessive wear and tear. Complete assembling of pumps and its refitting back to its position at site for installation. The job further includes coupling the pump and motor for both units, checking for alignment and testing on full load. Job involves cost of materials, labour charges both skilled and un skilled labour and hire charges for tools and tackles, transport charges, and testing of Pumping unit at full load. Up-keepment of MS Rising main by way of welding the leaked spots using good quality electrodes after preparing the surface by way of etching with sand papers and using patches of MS flats as per site requirement. Servicing of 2 no’s choked foot valves of 200mm of LIS Dheri dhara by way of dismantling of foot valves and cleaning of mud/silt from pipes and foot valves using special tools and tackles. Complete dismantling of foot valves and then providing/fitting of new washers cut to size, adjustment of flaps with repairs to hinges. Reassembling the foot valves along with suction pipes by providing/fitting of new R.I sheets and nuts, bolts etc. The job also includes Repairs to the flood damaged 2HP Mono-block priming pumpset installed at LIS Dheri dhara. The job involves dismantling of priming pump unit from the 50mm suction line and 40mm delivery line, extraction of rotor from stator. Complete drying of the rewinding and rotor using heaters/hot air, Varnishing the stator with two coats of standard make varnish and drying by heating process. Reassembling the motor properly and fixing it on its position and connecting it with suction and delivery line after proper alignment.. Job include repairs to damaged suction pipe of 50 mm dia as per the site conditions pertaining to the priming unit by way of cutting and welding including making of joints by using special electrodes, wherever necessary.Job includes cost of materials, labour charges welding set charges, hire charges to and fro.
