Excavation in Hilly Area in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil soft Rock,Hard rock, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited ) and their intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line ,grades cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge at site according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of useful material for filling in road way, camber , embankments for grade improvement and disposal of all surplus material to approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its levelling fine dressing and carriage of machineries ,materials , tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required . Recovery of stones to the tune of 609.35 cubicmetre (Six hundred nine point three five cubicmetre) quantity at the Rate of Rupees 300/- only (Rupees Three hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractor's running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public /private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibilty of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases . Construction of embankment for roadway with approved material deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drains and foundations of other road structures or other sources in layers of suitable thickness not exceeding 200 mm (Two hundred milimetre) thick every layers compacted with 80-100 (Eighty desh Hundred) K.N static/ viberatory road roller to meet the requirement of table 300.1 and 300.2 Technical specifications to lines, grades, levels and cross sections as per Drawings or direction of the Engineer-in-Charge to specification clause 301, 1603.5 and other relevent clauses including preparation of foundation for embankment in all kinds and classification of soils including saturated soil within all leads and lifts. The rate shall include carriage of machineries, equipments, tools and materials and safety measures payment of all taxes, octroi royality and other incidentals necessary to complete the work in all respects.
