Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved aterial complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks(soft or hard) by manual means. a) upto 3 m depth (i) Without pumping out water and shoring

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and Technical specification. A) Granular material Using brick bats and fine sand (Grading Zone III as per IS:383:1970) in proportion 60:40

Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge. Using fine sand (Grading Zone III as per IS: 383:1970)

Single Brick Flat Soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with local sand.

Hire and labour charges for shoring work (including necessary close plank walling, framing, Eucalyptus/Jhou bulla piling, strutting etc) complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge for foundation excavation (vertical surface are incontact with supported earth is tobemeasured.) (This item should be executed on specific direction of the Enginner in charge) (a) For additional depth beyond 1.5 m. and upto 3.00 m

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor) (f) 25 mm to 30 mm shuttering without staging in foundation

Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.

Plain / Reinforced Cement Concrete in Open foundation with or without reinforcements, in any part of foundation of bridges / culverts with graded stone chips of appropriate nominal sizes, including screening and cleaning of coarse aggregates, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, cost of curing with water, including cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. including cost of formwork but excluding reinforcement complete as per drawing and technical specifications. Note : 1. From durability consideration, the value of minimum cement content and maximum water cement ratio to be considered in the mix design shall be as per the direction of the Engineer-in Charge. 2.During the execution of the item necesarry quantity of approved plasticizers to obtain the designed workability and stength is to be added,cost of which has been incorporated in the rate of the item.A) RCC Grade M25 ( I) Using concrete mixer Cement : PPC / PSC / OPC 33

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground flooras per relevant IS codes a) Pakur Variety Cement: PPC/PSC/OPC33

Plain / Reinforced Cement Concrete in Substructure with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality, cement and water reducing admixtures, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete as per drawing and technical specification including the cost of necessary form work and staging complete as per drawing and technical specifications. Note : 1.
