Supply and erection of 0.7MLD pressure filter at Mavinthodu
OD63616/2023-2024:Designing, manufacturing, installing 0.70 MLD demand satisfying in 12 hrs and suitable to site condition, trial run and commissioning of 1 No pressure sand filer (PSF) having capacity 16 LPS 960 LPM) pressure filter made of Mild steel (MS) shell thickness 10mm and dish end thickness 12 mm adequate to withstand possible maximum internal pressure. The container should have a man hole with cover of 20mm thick at top for easy inspection of the unit provision of door/dummy at bottom for media removal. The unit should be capable of discharging filtered water at the rate of 960 LPM against a total head of 230m. The unit should be incorporated with best quality 150mm CI sluice valve having ISI mark for filter unit functioning including rinsing and back washing. The outlet of the pressure sand filter shall be connected with the pumping main of 150mm diameter. The scope of work includes all related civil works and interconnection of the system at inlet and outlet with existing pumping main, bye pass arrangement. All the metallic parts should be painted with approved quality anti corrosive paint. The filter media comprising of graded coarse and fine sand should have a good performance and life for a minimum period of 2 years. The supporting under bed materials shall be graded pebbles/crushed gravel etc. The basement is made of cement concrete 1:2:4 with a depth 0.75 m below the ground level having an area with an offset 20 cm all around the filter and at top 0.20m R.C.C with 1:1.5:3 graded metal.
