Cutting road surface including stacking of excavated materials for pipe line trench work - Cutting open Cement concrete road surface with concrete saw cutter and removal with Breaker.

Earthwork excavation for foundations and depositing on bank for all lifts and with an initial lead of 10m including all Operational, incidental ,labour charges such as shoring, sheeting, planking, strutting etc., complete for finished item of work - Ordinary soil-Manual means up to 3m depth. Note: Cost of dewatering may be added, where required, up to 5% of labour cost. Assessment for dewatering shall be made as per site condition

Filling of foundations and basement with best river sand in layers of not more than 15 cms. thick each well watered to saturation and consolidated including cost and conveyance of all materials, incidental charges etc., complete.

Cement Concrete (1:4:8) using 40 mm ( 0.54 cu.m), 20mm (0.27 cu.m) and 12 mm (0.09 cu.m) nominal size hard broken granite crushed metal from any source conforming to the relevant ISI standards for foundations etc., laid in layers of not more than 15 cm thick well compacted including curing, ,machine mixing, cost and conveyance of all materials etc., complete.

Conveyance of excavated surplus earth / debris to a distance of 3 to 4 KM from the work site of work at the place specified by the Engineer-in-charge including loading at site of work and unloading at the place specified by the department during execution.

Supply and placing of M 25 Design Mix Concrete corresponding to IS 456 using concrete mixer using of 20 mm HBG crushed metal 0.530 cu.m (707 kg),. 10 mm HBG crushed metal, 0.362 cu.m (471 kg) , sand 0.407 cu.m (616 kg.) and cement 380 kg with water cement ratio of 0.48 ( 182.40 ltrs/ cu.m of CC) etc., to site and including sales & other taxes on all materials including all operational, incidental and labour charges such as machine mixing, vibrating, laying concrete, curing etc., complete with cement from standard suppliers approved by the department and including cost of centering, shuttering charges but excluding cost of steel and its fabrication charges for finished item of work (APSS No. 402).

Note : The design mix shall be got designed by furnishing the information required as per clause 19.1.1 &19.1.2 of IS 456-2000 by the contractor at his own cost and get approved from the competent authority before execution. The cement considered for above M25 grade concrete is 380 kg/cu.m and the rate is arrived accordingly in the estimate. After the mix is designed and approved, if there is any variation in the quantity of cement, over the cement content adopted in the estimate, the same will be considered and paid/recovered at estimate rate (+/-) T.P ( Either increase or decrease in quantity adopted in the estimate). Payment will not be made for variation in the quantity of other materials such as coarse & Fine aggregates.

Providing High Yield Strength deformed (HYSD)/ Thermo mechancially treated (TMT) steel bars of below 36 mm Fe 500/Fe-500D grade (as per IS 1786 - 2008) of different diametres for RCC works, including labour charges for straightening, cutting, bending to required sizes and shapes, placing in position with cover blocks of approved materials and size and tying and lap splicing with binding wire of 18 SWG, forming grills for reinforcement work as per approved designs and drawings, including cost and conveyance of steel bars including all wastages such as over laps, couplings, chairs, spacer bars including cost and conveyance of binding wire, cover blocks and all incidental, operational, labour charges such as cutting, bending, placing in position, tying including sales and other taxes on all materials etc., complete for finished item of work in all floors. (APSS NO.126) (In the absence of 18G binding wire,2 nos of 20G binding wire in tandem are to be strictly adhered). Note: Unless otherwise fabrication and placement of steel, no pre-pament shall be made against the supply of steel reinforcement

Supply, fabrication and erection of steel structure in position by using MS Tubes & Pipes of all diameters as per IS -1161, including labour charges for fabricating all heavy steel works like trusses, stanchions, heavy beams and girders including cost of welding rods, power changes etc., and cost and conveyance of all materials and including labour charges for fixing heavy iron grills, trusses, stanchions, heavy beams and girders erecting in position and fixing by using chain pulley blocks, derrek pole arrangements and cranes etc., complete and painting two (2) coats with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint in all shades grade-I having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content less than 50 grams/ liter approved colour and make, including brushes to have an even shade, over priming coat with ready mixed red oxide metal primer paint (total three (3) coats), including cost and conveyance of all materials, as directed during execution complying with standard specifications etc., complete as directed during execution. (TATA / SAIL / VSP / JINDAL) shall be used. Note:- If any size of MS Tubes & Pipes of TATA / SAIL / VSP / JINDAL is not available, then only the filed Engineers' shall permit for usage of APOLLO Brand (or) as specified during execution.

Supplying, fabrication and fixing of M.S Plates including bolts and nuts etc., as directed during execution.

Plastering in Cement mortar (1:3) 20 mm thick using best river sand from approved quarry including cost and conveyance of all materials, screening, curing, rounding of corners, incidental charges as directed during execution complying with standard specifications etc., complete.

Painting Two coats for External walls - new with Acrylic Emulsion paint exterior gradewith silicon additives having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content less than 50 grams/liter of approved brand and shade over priming coat with ready mixed Cement primer for exterior grade-2 (water thinnable) (Total Three coats) for new plastered surfaceafter thoroughly brushing the surface to remove all dirt and remains of loose powdered materials, including cost and conveyance of all materials to work site and all operational, incidental, labour charges etc., complete for finished item of work as per SS 911 for external walls.

Providing & fixing Directional boards / junction boards of various sizes as specified by the department, made out of Type – XI of ASTMD 4956-09 wide angle cube cornered micro Prismatic Retro reflective sheeting and confirming to IRC 67:2012 for full background of Green / Blue Colour & White Letters and fixed over 4mm Aluminum Composite Material sheet having minimum 0.5 mm thick Aluminum skin on both sides with back side painted grey colour and fixed over back support frame of M.S angle 25 x 25 x 3mm all round and fixing with 35x35x4mm and mounted on MS hollow section post of different sizes as specified (excluding cost of Post) The signpost should be painted with one coat of red oxide paint and 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint silver metallic. The signpost shall be firmly fixed with .MS base plate in to the ground by M-15 Concrete foundation. The rate including cost and conveyance of all materials ,equipment, machinery and labour with all leads and lift, loading charges necessary for satisfactory completion of the work as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.( but excluding cost of earth work and M 15 foundation concrete and MS supporting structure ) (3M India make or equivalent)
