DAY TO DAY MAINTENANCE OF TARGETS i.e. LBT, PBT AND GT ETC IN SK RANGE AT AF STN HALWARA

Rough excavation not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material exc 500 m but not exceeding 1.5 KM and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for HDPE bags of size 84 cm x 36 cm confirming to IS-6192-1994 duly filled with earth/sand, complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for Screening of sand upto depth of 0.50m removing of all foreign materials, metals, pebbles etc and again spreading and levelling of sand to true surfaces in gunner target area including all rubbish away from target area, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, filling spreading and leveling of sand (as per sample) in front gunnery target area, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Deduction for 10% shall be made for bulkage during measurement and payment. (ii) The contractor shall be start item No 1 to 5 within 15 days from receiving the site order and the whole work should be completed within 30 days, if contractor fails to complete work within given time frame a penalty of Rs 2500 per day of delay will be charge from contractor.

M&Lfor Leveling of bomb exploded area by cutting/filling of ground in layers any depth of filling below ground level and finishing to required surfaces, Ploughing tillers, leveling and marking furrows in the existing site of target area (depth of ploughing/ furrowing shall be as approved at site) as per required gradient and shape including removal of grass, shurbs rubbish, vegetation etc away from the end of target area as required from out side of target area (if required) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 1. Unit rate include for T& P comprising of tractor (not less than 50 HP and agriculture/ earth instruments/ drivers, fuel and extra labour (if required). Payment shall be made on the basis of hours of working recorded in the logbook duly maintained and signed by the contractor, JE, Engr-in-Charge and users. Hour meter shoud be serviceable/in working condition. work shall be carried out as and when required. 2. Condition 46 of IAFW 2249 is not applicable on item No 13 & 14 as scope of item is of repeated nature and will be executed on requirement basis during the currency of the contract and will be measured and paid accordingly.

M & L for filling lime Class 'B' confirming to IS 712-1984 in Target area at the early morning i.e. before 06:30 AM or as and when required for night firing @ 350 Kg per day (minimum) including spreading & leveling, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone masonry and precast concrete articles and removal of rubbish outside MOD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of cement plaster on brick or stone walls, etc including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, removal of rubbish outside MOD land, complete all as specified and as directed.
