Supply and Fixing of 120 minutes (minimum) Fire Resistant System for enclosure of baggage conveyor belt at basement. Secondary substructure made out of ISMC 75 is suspended from the roof slab at every 2400mm centers using 150x150x12mm baseplate and 4nos. ETA approved anchor fasteners. GI Framework consisting of 70x0.55mm BOXED ‘C’ Section is fixed @ 610mm centers perpendicular to the secondary substructure using gas nails. 100mm wide fire resistant, 9mm (Min.) cover strip is screw fixed over GI framework using 38mm self-tapping screws at 200mm centers. One layer of 9mm (Min.) thick Fire Resistant Board is screw fixed over the cover strips using 38mm self-tapping screws at 200mm centers. Board Joints are finished using USG All Purpose Joint Compound (APJC) compound and fiber tape. Acrylic sealant to be filled on the periphery joint between partition and roof slab. Painting on the surface done using one coat of putty, two coats of primer and two coats of emulsion paint. The system shall be in accordance with BS 476:Part 22: 1987. System shall include 600x600mm Access Door and 600x1800mm door for entry to cat-walk work as per Special Conditions & Particular Specification attached. (Rate shall include scaffolding, tools & machines, supervision etc. as required)
