REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF CI, GI PIPES AND CONTROL VALVES AT INA EZHIMALA

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m ifor laying of pipe in trenches/rectification of leakages. not exc 10 sqm on plan and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No.1 above but getting out in hard/dense soil.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil not exc 50m and depositing where directed at level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 100mm thick plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub floors, sub-bases, floors and pavings complete all as specified and as directed. Location: RL 30, RL 146 and Well No.5

Material and labour for 50mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded aggregate as in top layer flooring and pavings (for top layer flooring) finished even and smooth with out using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Location: RL 30, RL 146 and Well No.5

Material and labour for cutting existing CI pipe in position for insertion of CI specials/MJ collars of the following sizes:- Note : CI specials/MJ Collars and jointing shall be measured and paid separately.

(a) 80mm bore

(b) 100 mm bore

(c) 150mm bore

(d) 200mm bore

(e) 250mm bore

(f) 350mm bore

Taking up the GI pipe line and connections from the trench/ floor and cleaning, removing the block relaying/re-fixing in the same position of the following sizes: - Note: GI fittings such as bend, elbow etc. shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate for the item.

(b) GI tubing 25 mm bore

(c) GI tubing 32 mm bore

Supply and lay GI tubing medium grade in trenches/wall/floor with all fittings such as bend, elbow, socket etc including taking out the corroded pipes all as specified and as directed for the following sizes: -

Supply and lay of CPVC pipes SDR-11 and plain CPVC SDR -11 with all fittings in trenches in place of unserviceable GI tubes complete all as specified including taking out the unserviceable for the following sizes of pipes: -

(a) 20mm bore

(b) 25mm bore

(c) 32mm bore

(d) 40mm bore

(e) 50mm bore

Supply and lay of CPVC Schedule 80 pipes & plain CPVC Schedule 80 fittings with all fittings in trenches in place of unserviceable GI tubes complete all as specified including taking out the unserviceable for the following sizes of pipes: -

(a) 65mm bore

(b) 80mm bore

Supply and lay UPVC pipes of Schedule 40 ASTM with all fittings and fixtures laid in trenchers/wall/floor including taking out the unserviceable GI pipes of the following sizes complete all as specified and as directed:-

(a) 20mm bore

(b) 25mm bore

(c) 32mm bore

(d) 40mm bore

(e) 50mm bore

Supply and lay DI pipes spigot and socket ends centrifugally cast class K7 in any length laid in trenches including taking out the unserviceable CI pipes of following sizes complete all as specified and as directed :- Note:- Fittings shall be measured and paid separately

(a) 80mm bore

(b) 100mm bore

(c) 150mm bore

Material and labour for concrete bed to existing CI / DI pipes in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes wherever directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed for the following bore of pipe: -

(b) 150mm bore

Supply and fix in repairs of CI specials such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type (straight, bend, or double sockets etc) Tee pieces, single branch 'Y' junction, double branch (all sockets or socket and spigot) cross, collars caps and plugs etc for pipe of following sizes complete all as specified and as directed. (a) dia up to 150mm bore.

(b) 200 to 350mm bore

Material and labour for tyton joints in replacement of unserviceable joints with rubber gasket for DI spigot and socket pipes and fitting of the following sizes:-

(a) 80mm bore

(b) 100mm bore

(c) 150mm bore

(d) 250 mm bore

(e) 350mm bore

Supply and fix sluice valve, non-rising spindle flanged end of class PN 1.6 with stainless steel spindle with all accessories suitable for size 80mm dia, conforming to IS specification including taking out the unserviceable valve all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix NRV (Non Return Valve) flanged and drilled type 80mm dia including taking down the existing unserviceable valve all as specified and as directed.

Taking out the sluice valve with steel spindle and refacing, regrinding and re-fixing of the following size after cleaning dust, greasing etc all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for repair to valve chamber by means of taking down existing plaster (internal and external) completely and re-plaster in cement mortar 1:4, 15mm thick and applying 3 coats of white wash and welding of MS hinges and including one coat of synthetic enamel painting on MS sheet after preparation of the surface of the following size complete all as specified and as directed: -

(a) 90x90x 90 cm (inside dimension)

(b) 45x45x 60 cm (inside dimension)

Material and labour for construction of valve chamber of internal size 900mm x 900mm x 900mm with , foundation PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (100mm thick) laterite stone masonry 200 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4, PCC 1:2:4 type B1 for coping (75 mm thick) , rendering in cement mortar 1:4 ,15 mm thick on both internal and external surfaces (15cm below GL) including provision of MS sheet cover 3 mm thick and 40x6 mm flat frame, 50x6 mm hold fast embedded in coping with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer with necessary 3 coats white wash on external surfaces, earth work and excavation, handle of 12mm dia MS rod etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix 20mm bore brass ferrule on the existing pipe line including taking down of old unserviceable ferrule complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Ball valves in repairs high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

(a) 40mm bore (minimum weight- 690 gram)

(b) 25mm bore ( minimum weight -455 gram)

(c) 20mm bore (minimum weight- 210 gram)

Material and labour for MJ Collar for with Nut and Bolt suitable for interconnection of unserviceable CI pipes with DI pipes including taking out old unserviceable collar of following sizes of CI pipe complete all as specified and as directed: -

(a) 80 mm bore

(b) 100 mm bore

(c) 150mm bore

(d) 200mm bore

(e) 250mm bore

(f) 350mm bore

Supply and fix ARV (Air Release Valve) flanged and drilled type 80mm dia including taking down the existing unserviceable valve complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for taking up existing CI pipes and relaying the CI pipes spigot and socket ends centrifugally cast class B in any length laid in trenches of 80mm dia pipe complete all as specified. Note : (i). The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of cost of taking up of CI pipes in trenches and laying in new trenches where specified by Engr-In-Charge. (ii). The earth work shall be measured and paid seperately.

Supply and fix CI specials Bends, tapers, Tee pieces (single & double branch) any type and angle/ radius and straight connecting pieces but all ends flanged complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for arresting pipe line leakage made of Aluminium Foil Tape/Waterproof Adhesive Tape Sealing Butyl Rubber Tape for surface crack, pipe rupture (5cm width of tape) complete all as specified.

Supply and fix PVC medium duty braided suction hose pipe in any length laid in trenches including all fittings and connectors including taking out existing unserviceable pipes complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-In-Charge of following sizes: -

(a) 25mm dia

(b) 50mm dia

(c) 65mm dia

(d) 75mm dia

Supply and lay 100mm UPVC pipes of Schedule 80 ASTM with all fittings and fixtures laid in trenchers/wall/floor including taking out the existing unserviceable pipes complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and lablour for cleaning of valve chamber of size up to 0.9M x 0.9M x0.9M by removing of accumulated dirt/mud, vegitation up to 1 M around the chamber, cleaning of pipes/valves externally and checking serviceability of valves including applying a coat of white wash internally and externally including applying a coat of synthetic enamel paint to steel frame, cover complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-In-Charge.
