SCHEDULE `A' PART - VII (MISC ITEMS)

TOE WALL & DOORS, WEEP HOLE AND CAMOUFLAGE PAINTING)

Taking down Mild steel door shutter of area exc 4 Sqm but n.exc 15 sqm each leaf of 12 mm thick MS plate fixed on frame weighing approx 800 Kg each leaf and refaxing in same opening in outward direction complete including necessary welding and provision of hinges, nuts and bolts of appropriate Nos and size to sustain the weight of each leaf. Note: No extra cost will be admissible for use of nut bolts, hinges connecting piece to frame etc, Contractor may quote the rate accordingly. However the cost of replacement of damaged sheet if any shall be measured & paid separately

M & L for preparation of plastered surfaces of walls including pilasters / cornices etc and applying two coats of Acrylic emulsion (exterior weather coat) paint in camouflaging pattern as approved over one coat of primer applied as per manufacturer's instruction complete.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces exc 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of Fire retardant paints to delay ignition / surface burning for steel substrates with fire withstanding rating of 90 minutes ( 1.5 hours) over one coat of two component polyamide epoxy primer complet all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for complete removal of existing paint from steel surface by paint removers or burning with blow lamps and cleaning with scrapers, any number of coats, any width or girth on old surface and applying two coats of Fire retardant paints to delay ignition / surface burning for steel substrates with fire withstanding rating of 90 minutes ( 1.5 hours) over one coat of two component polyamide epoxy primer complet all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(FIRE FIGHTING)

Taking out unserviceable / defective / damaged / blockage CI pipe class LA/A/B 150 mm bore, from trenches including fitting, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Exacavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply and lay in trenches ductile iron pipes, socket and Spigot ends, of size DN150 mm dia bore, ISI marked Centrifugally Cast (Spun) Ductile Iron Pressure pipes conforming to IS:8329/2000 classification K-9 rating with nominal wall thickness 6.0 mm, suitable for push-on-joint (Rubber gasket-D jointing) with cement mortor lining inside the pipes and outside zinc coating with Bituminous finish coat as per IS:8329 / 2000 including EPDM rubber joints conforming IS: 5382 of 1985 all as specified and as directed by Engg-in-charge.

Material and labour for construction of valve chamber of size 1200x 1200 x 1000 mm deep dimensions (Over all internal dimension) for sluice valve etc. with PCC foundation, PCC block masonry walls, Plastering, PCC Coping, white washing, mild steel chamber cover, painting to chamber cover including demolition of old valve chamber complete all as specified below:-

(i) Cement concrete for foundation (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate 150 mm thick extended up to 150 mm beyond the outer face of block masonry.

(ii) Walls of valve chamber 200 mm thick with precast cement concrete (1:5:8) (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) solid building blocks , setting in CM 1:6 complete.

(iii) Internal and exposed surfaces of valve chamber both concrete and block masonry surface shall be plastered with CM (1:4), 15 mm thick finished even and smooth.

(iv) 50 mm thick coping in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 over block masonry wall.

(v) Entire plastered surfaces shall be treated with 3 coat of white wash.

(vi) Chamber cover shall be of 3 mm thick MS sheet with 30 x 30 x 5 mm size angle iron frame with hold fast and locking arrangement. steel surface shall be painted with two coats of synthetic paint of first quality over one coat of red oxide primer.

Description all as per item No. 13 above but valve chamber of internal size 750 mm x 750 mm x 1000 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair external fire Hose box made of 18 gauge MS Sheet of size 800 mm x 600mm x 250 mm with double door with 4 mm thick glasses and door frame made of 16 gauge MS sheet painted fire red out side and brilliant white inside accommodate the hose pipes, branch pipe nozzle and the hydrant outlets . This shall be lockable and provided with center opening glazed doors.The support for hose cabinet shall be of brick work up to a height of 0.5 m above ground level. The depth of footing for this support shall be minimum 50 cm below ground level, resting on leveling course of minimum 10cm of PCC (1:5:8). The brick work shall be plastered in cement mortar (1:6). complete all as specified and as directed

INTERNAL, EXTERNAL & AIRCONDITITIONING

S&F MCB single pole & neutral 32 Amp 240 volt C curve 10 KA, IP 20 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and install wall mounting split air conditioner flame proof fitted with hermitically sealed compressor operaing on phase AC supply, 2.0 ton capacity, with flame proof motor certified by CMRI Dhanbad for gas group IIA & IIB, cooling coils should be kept in compressor, non flame proof outdoor unit condenser should be install outside the flame control unit and with inbuilt air ionize and plasma filter for better indoor air quality complete all as specified and directed. The entire air conditioner should be certified by CMRI dhanbad.

Supplying & laying factory made unreinforced precast cable cover LV type 2, flat of size 300 x 180 x 40 mm all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix Flame proof MCB distribution board, 6 way, in cast aluminium alloy LM6 suitable for EX-d Explosion proof for Zone 1 & 2 Gas Groups IIA, IIB & IIC (FLP-WP), Temp class -T6, IP66 IS / IEC60529-1:2001, Cable Entry :1”ET - 01 No. & 3/4” ET 6 Nos. Main In comer :63 AMP MCB / ELCB 4 Pole 440Volts and Outgoing :06 / 10 AMP MCB Single pole: - 06 Nos. confirming to CIMFR certification complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

M&L for earthing with SAFE EARTHING ELECTRODE (S.E.E) conforming to IS :3043-1987 with zinc coated earthing electrode with coating thickness of 100 microns using pipe in pipe technology method with 3 Meter long, 42 mm inner dia and 76 mm outer dia GI rod connected with and including 25 mm x 3 mm size GI strip upto 7.5 m, fixing of electrode by boring 150 mm dia hole up to 3.30 meter depth in any type of soil with mechanical apparatus, returning filling with back fill compound(BFC) 2 x 25 KG compound bags .....................
