Excavation in trenches in Soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying pipes, cables etc. and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as directed.

Note: Cost of equipment tools and plant material (horizontal boring rig machine) required for boring shall be arranged by contractor at no extra cost to the department.

Supply & laying in replacement of Galvanised steel tubing of size 100mm bore, medium grade to be fixed on walls or laid under roads for passing cables complete as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fix Earthing of Poles with GI wire 4mm dia with galvanised MS earth plate of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level, earth plate shall be packed on all side with charcoal mixed with salt to a thickness of 150mm in layers, connected to GI earth wire 4mm dia (8 SWG) protected by GI pipe 15mm bore (light grade) and watering pipe 20 mm dia (medium grade) of suitable length, with necessary earth work including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not less than 50 metre, PCC pit chamber with RCC cover frame, funnel, wire mesh. The GI earth wire 8 SWG under the earth and on the pole up to a height of 1.5 meter shall also be protected by 15mm dia GI pipe (medium grade) & GI pipe to be fixed with poles by the means of 2 Nos flat iron clamp 25 x 3 mm size complete with bolts, nuts and washers etc. complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I - 2009. Note: - Main earthing lead from earth plate to test point & up to 7.5 Metre to be provided. The cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in the above quoted rate.

Material and labour for Sub class ‘B’ bricks, best quality, locally available laid dry flat with width equal to length of brick, over LT underground cable in trenches for mechanical protection of size 23cm x 11.5cm x 7.5cm thick complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Labour for Re-stretching, restraining ACSR conductor laid over, OH LT/HT line on steel/PCC poles after removing the binding from insulators, lowering the ACSR conductor or broken OH line due to any reason, jointing the broken conductor, Re-winding the ACSR with insulators including providing binding wire, jumpering & connecting the existing service cables after re-stretching/Re-straining to OH line & removing unavoidable sag in the lines, span consisting of 4 ACSR wire & one earth wire conductor of any description complete all as specified. Note: Item will be measured as a whole, No single conductor will be paid separately.

Material & Labour for trimming of tree branches, vegetation bushes etc from below the over head line with a clearance of 2.5mtr on both sides including removal of cutted material at a distance of 50m from work site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge (Note: pole to pole distance approximately 40-50 RM Average of each row of LT/HT line shall be measured and paid)

Material & Labour for GI steel wire 4mm dia for continuous earthing on poles for guarding carddles hexagonal or rectangular including stringing and connected to earth wire including dismantling old unserviceable one.

Supply and fixing of aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size/description on LT poles including stringing, tightening, binding to insulators with aluminium wire and connecting jumpers, connections etc, commissioning and testing including dismantling old unserviceable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying & Fixing Shackle type 75mm height and 90mm dia insulator, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green including galvanised mild steel strap 31mm X 3mm, insulator bolts 12mm dia with suitable washers and nut, suitable for working pressure up to & including 1100 volts, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge fixed on LT poles.

Supply and Fix pin type porcelain vitreous white brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle two GI washers and one GI iron nut for 1100 volts grade of size 100mm height, 65mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for removing old burnt jumper connection in binding with HT/LT lines from position including re-binding the same with new binding wire of size 2.00mm aluminium wire complete as directed.

Supply & Fix Heat shrinkable jointing kit straight through joint suitable for LT underground cable of size 10/16/25 Sqmm 4 core,1.1 KV outdoor terminations complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto all as per Serial Item no.56 but of size 50 to 150 sqmm, 3.5 core.

Supply & Fix Heat shrinkable jointing kit straight through joint suitable for LT indoor / outdoor cable end terminal joint (epoxy joints) any type suitable for aluminium conductor cable of size 35 Sq mm to 120 Sq mm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto all as per Serial Item no. 58 but of size 10 to 25 sqmm, 3.5/4 core.

Material & Labour for cable route indicator 15 cm dia with CI Plate embossing type of cable fix to angle iron of size 40x40x6mm and 45 cm long with necessary fixing arrangement in ground complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for removing complete covers of the LT panel board, cleaning the bus bars with CTC solution, removing the carbon deposits, rust particles etc. tightening the bus bars, bolts, nuts including replacing with required new bolts nuts, insulating the exposed portion with insulating tapes and replacing the damaged insulators/ Hylam sheets etc. and re-fixing the covers and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying for replacement of unserviceable underground LT cable 1100 Volts grade heavy duty electric cable XLPE outer sheathing with Copper conductor, Armoured confirming to IS-7098 (Part-I) 1988 with latest amendments of size 10 Sqmm x 4 core including taking out old unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed.

Amount of Credit Schedule shall be deducted to arrive the Contract Sum.
