Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land, including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, channels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of E) Beyond 4.00 Km and upto 5.00 Km NB: Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / pre-post work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. The royalty will be paid to the agency on production of necessary documents in support of paymentmade towards the royalty. Note 3: Extra rate towards cess for earth for land owned / arranged by the contractor over rate of earthwork for land owned / arranged by the Department has been added in this derivation @ ₹5.30/m³ [Vide Ref: Memo No: 138/3512-29/C/99 Dated; 22.06.2000 of DLR & Jt. Supplying to site and pitching with 1st class kiln burnt or picked Jhama bricks including dressing, ramming and preparing bed to proper slope complete with necessary earth work not exceeding 300 mm. in depth and filling gaps with powdered earth or local sand etc. complete (The rate is including cost of sand). i) With 1st class kiln burnt brick

Labour for laying soiling with departmental bricks including carriage of departmental bricks within a lead of 150 metres preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with brick joints properly filled in and packed with local sand or powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar materials below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) for Kakdwip. (d) Soling or dry pavement with one brick-on-edge laid in herring bone pattern over a layer of brick flat (thickness 125 mm plus 75 mm) .

Labour for taking out brick-on-edge of herring bone bond including removing debris to flank or berm sorting out serviceable materials and stacking for Kakdwip. D) Bricks on Herring bone pattern.
