ADDITION AND ALTERATION TO ASHRAYA BUILDING AT INHS SANJIVANI NAVAL BASE KOCHI UNDER GE NW KOCHI

Dismantling wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation etc) or insulation boards/slabs/blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets complete as directed as specified and directed.

Supply, Providing and fixing suspended false ceiling consisting of 4mm thick Non asbestos fibre cement building boards fixed or laid/ inserted with screws suspended on Anodised aluminum snap grid frame work for false ceiling all as specified including G.I. hooks & hangers 6mm dia G.I. of required fixed to roof slab. The aluminum framework is supported on side wall with the use of 1" x 1" angles complete as per manufacturer’s specification & drawings and applying two coat of oil bound distemper over one coat of primer. (As per the recommendations/ practice) including necessary scaffolding and shuttering complete as directed as specified and directed.

Taking down of existing roof treatment consisting of screed bed plaster tar felts etc including removal of PCC upto getting main roof slab and removal of dismantled materials complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 30 mm thick Type B-0, 1:2:4 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as padding on roof slab, with WPC complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for screed bed or bedding layer for roof of mortar 10mm thick in CM 1:3 (using WPC) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for the water proofing treatment is Seven course and shall be carried out as follows: (i) Preparing roof surface by removing oil, dirt, laitance and other contaminents manually and Injection of grout to construction joints and honey combs if any with cementitious pressure grouting with 40 Psi pump using Cobex 100 or equivalent @ 225gms mixed to 50Kg bag of cement including packing joints with fillets using polymer modified mortar. (ii)Apply a coat of oil based bituminous primer @ 200 gram / square metre on the prepared surface. (iii) Apply a coat of blown type bitumen grade 85/25 conforming to IS:702 heated to a working temperature of 180 degree C and applied @ 1.20 Kg per square metre of the surface area. (iv) Provide and lay 4mm thick APP modified torch applied water proofing membrane weighing not less than 4.00 Kg per square meter reinforced with non woven polyester matt, weighing not less than 160gm/sqm having softening point not less than 1400C, Longitudinal tensile strength not less than 650 N/5 CM, tear strength of 180N(Min), a static puncture resistance of 180, keeping a minimum of 10 cm over laps and 15cm end lap. (v) Apply a coat of blown type bitumen grade 85/25 conforming to IS:702 heated to a working temperature of 180 degree C and applied @ 1.20 Kg per square metre of the surface area. (vi) Provide and lay 4mm thick APP modified torch applied water proofing membrane weighing not less than 4.00 Kg per square meter reinforced with non woven polyester matt, weighing not less than 160gm/sqm having softening point not less than 1400C, Longitudinal tensile strength not less than 650 N/5 CM, tear strength of 180N(Min), a static puncture resistance of 180, keeping a minimum of 10 cm over laps and 15cm end lap. (vii)Apply a coat of blown type bitumen grade 85/25 conforming to IS:702 heated to a working temperature of 180 degree C and applied @ 1.20 Kg per square metre of the surface area. (viii) Finishing surface with solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint, @ 100 gm/Sqm.

Dismantling single layer mangalore pattern or similar tiles in roofing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for roof tiles mangalore pattern interlocking at side joints laid dry complete all as specified and asdirected. (Note: Sample of MP tiles shall be approved by GE).

M&L for ridge or hip tiles to suit mangalore pattern of roofing tiles bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specifiede and as directed.

Dismantling tile battens of any size including tiling fillets spaced exc 15 cm centre to centre complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling timber scantlings 40 Sq. cm and over in section for unframed, in any position complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling timber scantlings under 40 Sq cm in section for unframed work in fillets, rails, posts, rafters, purlins etc, in unframed works complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 18-19mm thick marine plywood with laminated mica sheet glossy finished (not less than 1mm) covered kitchen cabinets, inside depth not less than 0.47M , water proof, termite & borer proof, corrosion free with melamine polished shutter and 02 auto closer counter sunk hinges, 01 stainless steel handles, 01 magnetic catcher per shutter complete all as directed . ( Note :(i) Only front facing area of cabinet will be measured for payment. M&L for preparation newly plastered external wall surfaces and apply base coat to antifungal paint and allowed to dry overnight before applying first coat of weather proof (anti fungal paint) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for application of two coats of weather proof paint (premium acrylic emulsion paint alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade ) ( Asian paint apex ultima protek or equivalent of Berger /Nerolac ) on primed wall surface using spray application or mechanical means, to get a smooth and tint free surface and allowed to dry for at least 8 hrs/ overnight to receive second coat of acrylic exterior emulsion paint after the application of first coat complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above GL) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6, Type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, in plinth protection/hard standing, surface to be finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.
