REPAIRS RESURFACING TO CERTAIN ROADS AT 29 FAD GARDEN CITY DAMPSY ROAD AREA AND INTERNAL ROADS AT ME LINE COD DEPOT AREA AND ROAD IN ASHOK NAGAR MD ACCN AND ROAD AT CQASV ALKAPURI UNDER GE DEHU ROAD

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with cationic bitumen emulsion RS-1 grade at the rate of 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in bituminous macadam thickness consolidated/ compacted thickness using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined as per IRC 27: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of Rs 45 per kg.

M & L for preparing unsurfaced Black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M & L for bituminous macadam not exceeding 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. M & L for Applying evenly a priming/tack coat of VG-10 grade paving bitumen with bituminous primer at 2.5 Kg per 10 Sqm on BM surfaces etc all as specified and directed.

M & L for bituminious premix dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm (compacted thickness) using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG 30 grade) @ 5.5% by weight of total mix & hydraulic lime filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Bituminous premix dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined following the Marshall Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of Rs 45 per kg.

M & L for with approved moorum, red bajri in road side berms as light wearing surfaces 100 mm spread thickness spread, watered,rolled and consolidated with power roller all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note- For measurement refer Preamble 3.6 of MES Schedule Part II

M & L for marking for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick center lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n exc 10cm wide on roads pavement with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and fixing in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions.

S & F in repair cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x125mm x25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency mono-crystalline solar panel 2.4 V/0.30 watt one Ni-cd rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED Six Super bright LEDs of Colour yellow, red, blue, green and white with 10000 to 18000 mcd completed as per manufacture instuction etc all as specificed and directed. MAKE : 3M Company SPARK EYE of POLE-STAR or equivalent to meet AL-201 specification or equivalent as specified and approved by Accepting Officer.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 Sqm, depth of pothole exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm including rolling over the broken surfaces using 8 to 10 tonnes power roller required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 75 mm thickness (Compacted thickness) WBM with granite, trap or basalt stone coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
