Manning and operation and day to day maintenance of STP installation of capacity 250 KLD at Island ground in three shifts per day (0600 hrs to 1400 hrs, 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs and 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs) including all Sundays and holidays by employing 01 FGM in each shift (Total 03 FGM per day). The operator should be ITI qualified or having sufficient experience to operate STP, compressors, pump sets, DG sets and its electrical panel boards as per following details. The operator should ensure that the received sewage should be treated as per the standard specified in time and treated water to be pumped out to treated water tank/ sump:- 7.5 HP Pump Set - 04 No. 5 HP Pump Set - 02 No. 10 HP Compressor - 02 No. 7.5 HP Submersible Pump - 02 No. 40 KVA Standby DG Set - 01 No. Pressurised Sand Filter and carbon Filter, Liquid Chlorine dozer. Connected LT Panels/ Starter panels/ Valves etc. Notes: (a) The operator should collect samples from STP of Island Ground and carry out BOD, COD, Ph value, TSS and Total coliform Tests. (b) The operator shall ensure after testing of water that the treated water should meet the standards of BOD<10 mg/ lit , COD<150mg/ lit, Ph value - 6.0 to 8.5, TSS< 10 mg/ lit and Total Coliform < 100 counts/ 100 ml. Notes applicable to BOQ Srl item No 1 & 2:- (a) For the purpose of payment of minimum wages, the FGM shall be considered as skilled worker. (b) The quoted rates shall be deemed to include the cost of all the specified tests at departmental lab. (c) Tests shall be carried out by collecting separate samples from both the plants. (d) Tests shall be carried out by qualified lab technician/ operator having suffient experience in the field. (e) The equipments mentioned above shall be handed over to the contractor in working condition and the same shall be taken back in same condition on completion of the contract. Any minor repairs warranted to the equipments during the currency of contract shall be got carried out by the contractor and quoted rates shall be deemed to include for this element. In case, any test cannot be carried out on account of appratus being out of order, the requisite tests shall be got carried out from approved lab without any extra cost to Govt. (f) All log sheets to be maintained during each shift and details of consumable used to be maintained on the plant running record book. (g) The contractor will maintain the installation and the surrounding neat and clean by carrying out sweeping/ brooming and grass cutting as required/ directed.

Notes applicable to BOQ Srl item No 1 & 2 (Contd...) (h) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include for uniforms for the staff employed for wearing during working hours. The colour and pattern of the uniform shall be decided by the GE. (j) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include for the documents such as Log books of the plants, Plant Running/ Maintenance record Book. The rate considered is inclusive of Tools required for running and maintenance of plants. (k) General cleanliness and upkeeping existing plants and vegetation within the premises of the plant by deploying additional manpower with T&P if required at any time and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (l) Contractor shall made payment through authorised bank and photocopy of receipt of payment shall be attached with RAR/FB. (m) Duty roster will be submitted by the contractor before commencement of the month for obtaining the approval of JE and Engineer-in-charge. Any change the duty roster will be made by the contractor, only after approval of Engineer-in-charge. (n) Contractor shall monitor the duties of all operators and submit report to concerned Engr-in-Charge/ JE E/M regarding availability of manpower and also monitor for watch and guard of installation. Any loss of damage to the plant equipment installed and Govt. property in the installation premises shall be made good by the contractor. Rates quoted by the contractor are deemed to include for this clause.

(p) The rate quoted shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Govt. of India/ State Govt./ Local body whichever is higher including all statutory provisions such as EPF, ESIC, bonus, Taxes etc. and rate of GST as applicable on the last due date of bid submission. (q) In such case, the lowest tender shall be determined by the lowest amount amongst valid/ bonafide bids only. (n) 'NIL' or 'Zero' Quoting against OH & Profit shall be render the bids as 'Non-bonafide'. (r) Contractor is required to quote upto two digit after decimal place or otherwise it will be considered by rounding off to two digits after decimal place.

(s) In case of tie amongst bidders, following criteria shall be applied to decide the lowest bidder for acceptance:- (aa) When tie is amongst MES enlisted firms, order of acceptance shall be as given below:- (i) Bidder of highest class will be considered for acceptance. (bb) In MES in case of tie between two or more same class bidder. (i) Highest class bidders having average marks in the performance reports stage II of last 5 completed works. (Contractor to be submitted Affidavit, Work Order, Completion Certificate as & when required) (ii) Bidder having highest amount of working capital (cc) When tie involves unlisted firm also:- (i) Bidder having highest amount of working capital.

M&L comprehensive maintenence and repairs and servicing to water testing lab equipment comprising the following in full working condition on all the days including Sundays and holidays including carrying out the tests as specified in clause 24.1 of PS-II on treated and un-treated water. The departmental lab is equipment is equiped with the following:- (a) BOD Incubator. (b) COD Digestion HOOD. (c) Hot Air Oven. (d) Glass wares. (f) PH meter and conductivity meter. Note: (i) All log sheets shall be maintained during each shift and details of consumable used to be maintained on the plant record book. (ii) Sludge removal will be done by the contractor outside the MD land. (iii) The contractor will maintain the installations and the surrounding area in neat and presentable manner by carrying out sweeping/ brooming and grass cutting as required.
