Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of cable, foundation and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for sand cushioning for covering of under ground cable using crushed metal sand complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV type-1, flat size 300x180x40 mm for protection of U/G cable laid dry flat over the cable with width equal to length of the cable and abutting each other with gap between adjacent slab not exc. 10mm over UG cable in trenches acomplete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 CM in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil/material not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting existing road/hardstand of any type by using crow bar chisel uprto a depth of 30 cm for laying GI pipe including making good the surface by returning filling watering ramming in layers 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 over 200 mm thick hard core of broken bricks/stones over returning filling watering ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:5:10 type E-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles/stays, mass concrete, sub base etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles, mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of poles finished even and smooth with using extra cement including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out carefully LT cable of any size from ground or poles etc and testing for serviceability and laying the serviceable LT cable under ground/on poles/through pipes at the same or other locations as directed after connection and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Item will be measured only when cable is found serviceable for reuse. (b) Necessary eartwork,sand cushining, cable protection shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for supplying, laying, jointing and testing LT underground cable, heavy duty, 1100 Volts, XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed, armoured, multi-stranded aluminium conductor cable conforming to IS, laid in trenches/ducts or fixed to poles/walls or laid under roads/paths/drains/culverts duly protected in galvanised steel pipe of suitable sizes all bare conductor of cable including cable gland and lugs etc at both ends incl disconnecting and taking out unserviceable damaged cable for the following size of cable complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Excavation, returning, removal, sand cushioning, cable protection covers, GI protection pipe etc shall be measured and paid separately. (b) Any damage done during cable excavation to the existing UG infra like UG pipelines, UG electric cables, OFC etc shall be repaired by the contractor at their own expenses. (c) Cost of T&P required for handling/ laying of cable is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.

M&L for supplying, installing and testing in replacement gang operated air break switch 12 insulator type, HT 11 KV, AC 50 C/S, Triple pole, Horizontal/ vertical mounting type, mechanically operated from ground, mounted on 12 silicon rubber insulators 11 KV grade and steel frame, current rating upto 200 Amps complete with fuse mounting, fuse carriers and fuse elements of required capacity fixed on the pole structure on channel/ angle iron/ cross arm with suitable GI nuts, bolts & washers etc including taking down existing unserviceable of any type/ size etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for supplying, installing and testing lightning arrestor, station class type of rated voltage 12 KV and discharge current capacity 65 KA suitable for 11000 Volt including taking down existing unserviceable of any type/ size etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for supplying, installing and testing station class type lightning arrestor suitable for 33 KV discharge current 65 KA fixed on existing steel structure including connection with earth strip conforming IS 3070 (Part -3) 1983 Class 'A' complete all as specified and directed including taking down existing unserviceable of any type/ size etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for servicing/ preventive maintenance of 33 KV yard structure complete with following works: (a) Replacement of unserviceable jumper, sleeves, vice type conductor, bolts, nuts and washers, connecting lugs/ thimble etc. (b) Applying petroleum jelly to the moving as well as fixed contacts. (c) Tightening all the connection for its smooth functioning. (d) Preparing old painted surface of this structure such as poles, cross arms, bracing supports, clamp and back plate complete painting of two coats of anti corrosive weather proof heat resistant aluminium paints over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer. Note: (a) The cost of minor items like nuts, bolts, washers, lughs, jelly etc is deemed to be included in the quoted rates of the item. However, any major spares required to keep the yard structure in satisfactory functional condition shall be paid under relevant items of the schedule.

S&F in replacement Pin type insulator porcelain, vitereous white brown or green of 150 mm height & 150 mm dia including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washer and one galvanised iron nut suitable for working pressure 11000 volts including taking down existing unserviceable of any type/ height/ make etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement single disc porcelain, vitreous white/ brown insulator 255 mm dia and 145 mm height assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductor working pressure 11000 volts including taking down existing unserviceable of any type/ make etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement control cable including laying or fixing with saddles or cable tie etc jointing and testing LT PVC insulated copper conductor armoured electric power cable ISI marked with multi stranded copper conductor heavy duty 1100 volts grade of 2.5 Sq mm 4 core complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for fixing in replacement cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section (flat iron/ angle iron/ MS sheet) including back plate, MS boxes made out of MS sheet, clamps or D clamps made out of MS flat iron made to shape including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending hot or cold, drilling holes for bolt in any size or shape as directed inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including taking out existing unserviceable of any size/ type etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&Fr stay assembly complete comprising of 20 mm dia galvanised stay rod 180 cm long, MS galvanised stay plate size 300 x 300 x 6 mm thick for stay pole as shown in electric plate No 1 of SSR part-I for HT poles including taking down existing unserviceable of any type/ make etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, concrete, loop type insulator and stay clamp will be measured and paid seprately.

S&F in replacement loop type insulator vitreous procelain, white, brown or green, large size with overall dimensions 65 x 90 mm, clearence of hole 16 mm etc including taking down existing unserviceable of any type/ make etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fixing in replacement Danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of following sizes including taking down existing unserviceable of any type/ size etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement post top lantern LED type of 20 Watt capacity 230 volts AC outdoor type with decorative post top for 360 degree indirect light IP 65 protection with impact and corrosion resistant complete with driver and lamp from pole of any height/ pillar/ bldg wall etc CCT not less than 5700K, IP 65 complete including taking down existing unserviceable light fittings complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement LED solar street light fitting IP66 of capacity 30 watt including in built lithium ion phosphate battery, solar panel, charge controller with dusk down sensor, with efficiency not less than 120 lumen/watt, complete taking down existing unserviceable light fittings complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2.5 mm thick for voltage upto 11 KV for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement synthetic Rubber insulated mats 3 mm thick for voltage upto 33 KV for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for filtration/ dehydration of the existing transformer oil at site of any make and capacity of transformer up to required dielectric strength as per IE rules and refilling in the transformer up to required level complete all as directed. Note :- (a) The dielectric strength shall not be less than 65 KV for 33 KV Tfr & 45KV for 11 KV transformer after dehydration process. (b) Transformer oil required for topping up shall be measured for separately under relevant items of schedule.

Supply & filling new transformer oil of dielectric strength not less than 50KV for 60 Sec for topping up to required level of transformer complete all as directed.

Disconnecting all HV & LV electric and earthing connections of existing 11/.415KV distribution transformer from its position at site at any location under GE Dehradun for repair/ servicing/ rewinding of following capacities:

Note :- (a) Transformer issued to the contractor through issue voucher and gate pass. (b) Inspection of transformer to be carried out before lifting the transformer and signature to be obtainted from Contractor, JE E&M, and Engr-in Chage as per inspection report. (c) Transformer oil to be drained out and kept with MES store yard/MRS before despatch to the company (d) Transformer should be rewinded through authorised dealer of manufacturer company and authorisation certificate and bills of cost of rewinding to be submitted before payment. (e) Test certificate, Warranty certificate, Copy of Job order to be submitted before payment. (f) New oil to be filled up into tranformer and quantiy to be measured and paid seperately under relevant item. (g) The dielectric strength transformer oil shall not be less than 50 KV. (h) All the unserviceable and retrieved parts of transformer during the winding shall be deposited to MES store yard/ MRS Garhi Cantt and issued to contractor as schedule credit through issue voucher and gate pass.

Dismatling of distribution transformer of any size/capacity from 2/4 Pole structure after carefully disconnecting exisiting HT and LT electric & earthing connections and re-connecting after the mounting to the PCC foundation/ at existing location and dismantling HT Poles and other accessories (if any) for depositing to MES store for re-installation complete all as specified directed.

M&L for construction of transformer platfrom of size 3mx2.5mx1.2 m with brick masory (Sub class B bricks old size) with steps, earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 in foundation 100 mm thick, coping 75 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 including white wash with two coats, X-PM jali (weight n exc 4 kg per sqm) all round the platform with angle iron 65x65x6mm size on corner with steel wicket gate of suitable size and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxcide primer on steel surface complete all as specified directed.

M&L for loose filling with stone aggregate of gauge 40 to 80 mm in surrounding of transformer permisses all directed

M&L for shifting of transformer from any site/ location under GE Dehradun with necessary transportation and lifting arrangements and placing the transformer wherever directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for trimming/ pruning of tree branches up to 5 meters above & below and both sides to obtain clearance all around the LT over head lines / HT over head lines conductor upto 5 mtr from conductor including removing of cut branches and cleaning of site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of 11 meter existing 4 pole structure including pole, cross arm, bracing clamps, GO DO fuse etc with two coats of heat resistance aluminium paint above coping incuding making 5 nos of alternative strips of black and red paint of 30 cm width & numbering of pole as per existing complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 64 here -in-before but 2 pole structure complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of steel pole 11 meter height after preparing the surface by scrapping old paint with sand paper with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer incuding making 5 nos of alternative strips of black and yellow paint of 30 cm width & numbering of pole as per existing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of steel pole 09 meter height after preparing the surface by scrapping old paint with sand paper with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer incuding making 5 nos of alternative strips of black and yellow paint of 30 cm width & numbering of pole as per existing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for spraying agricultural based chemical inside the installation to control the growth of unwanted herb, shrubs etc including cutting, removing the vegetation growth & surface dressing all around the installation yard/ transformer /LT panel Board area external only to keep installation always clean and tidy condition complete all as directed. Note:- (a) All the installation yards/area shall be kept clean throughout contract period by repeatedly removing the grass / shrubs as many times required depending on the growth of grass. (b) Payment to the contractor will be made separately for each time the job is executed as per the requirement and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting all electric connections and taking out carefully existing unserviceable items from LT Panel/ bus bar chamber/ feeder pillar box/ electric poles/ Building (any capacity, any type) for carrying out repair work at site including replacement of unserviceable/ defective screw/ nut & bolts/ washers/Lugs/ spreaders/ hinges of doors/ repair to Locks & handles/ Indication lamps/meters/cable glands/Bus Bar (copper/aluminium) etc and refixing the fittings in its original position, testing and commissioning, including removal of bushes, creapers and trimming of branches around the LT Panel/ Bus Bar Chamber/Feeder Pillar/ Electric Poles at site complete all as directed . Note: (a) Cost of minor items like nuts, bolts, washers, insulation tape, fuse wire etc is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. However, any major parts required to rectify the defect shall be measured and paid for separateely under relevant items of schedule. (b) Tools, ladder, vehicle required to carry out the work shall be provided by the contractor. (c) Contractor will ensure the safety of the workers employed at his own expenses

Material and labour for replacement of unserviceable earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip 25x4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I 1991 connected to earthing test point/ transformer/ panel all as directed and testing on completion as directed including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, funnel, PCC chamber (1:3:6) type C1, RCC pit cover, charcoal, salt including provision of earth lead protected by 40mm dia light grade GI pipe and 20mm dia medium grade GI Pipe for watering complete. Note: (i) If the desired earth resistance is not found within permissible limit of less than 5 Ohm, earthing shall be redone by contractor without any extra cost. (ii) Cost of galvanised earth lead upto 7.5 mtr, 40mm dia light grade GI pipe and 20mm dia medium grade GI Pipe for watering is included in the rate quoted for this item.

All as per item No. 86 above but with galvanised iron strip 32x6mm as earthing lead and protection pipe of dia 50mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of unserviceable earthing with maintenance free earthing with copper electrode 50mm dia thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.10 mtr below ground level filled with highly conductive metalic compound mixture CCM with the permanent sealing of the both end, outer dia pipe 50mm with strip terminal 50x6 with terminal holes including one bag 25 kg of bfc compound, earth connected with copper strip 20 x 3 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, Nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to main switch board protected by galvanized iron pipe medium 40 mm bore, PVC chamber as per manufacturer instruction and testing on completion. Note: (a) If the desired earth resistance is not found within permissible limit of less than 2 Ohm, earthing shall be redone by contractor without any extra cost. (b) Cost of copper earth lead upto 7.5 mtr, 40mm dia light grade GI pipe is included in the rate quoted for this item. thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to main switch board protected by galvanized iron pipe medium 40 mm bore, PVC chamber as per manufacturer instruction and testing on completion.

M&L for under ground pneumatic horizontal drilling of holes (HDD) under road, pavement, hard standing for not less than 110 mm dia, for required length at site by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique with necessary horizontal direction drilling machine. The contractor shall be conduct under ground scanning to detect existing HT/LT cable line, sewage line, OFC Cable etc to avoid damage. The hole also must be deep enough that as the tool compacts the ground and the surface to be remain undisturbed. The operator shall aim the tool to the desired exit point and allow it to perform it function creating a bore hole under the ground without disturbing surfaces. The operator also should monitor the surface to make sure that, it is undisturbed. Note :- Drilling should be executed at various places as directed at site by Engr-in-Charge.

Attending all LT/ HT electrical faults/ breakdowns in over head lines / UG cabling network due to reasons like falling of tree branches, bird hits, cracking of pin/ disc insulator, breaking over head conductors etc complete including patrolling of LT/ HT line, meggering, removing of fault, replacement of insulator any type, replacement of fuses and restoring the feeder complete all as specified and directed for following areas :- Notes : (a) All T&P & manpower required to complete job is included in unit rate. (b) Unit rates also includes the conveyance & communication facilities required to complete the job. (c) Complaints slip book will issued from the deparment and all the complaint will be written in the slip and to be submitted to the office at the time RAR/Bill for audit purpose. (d) Complaint slip should signed by MCM/JE E&M and signatures will be taken on completion of job. (e) Complaints to be attended by well qualified staff having experience of minimum 03 years round the clock.
