REPAIR TO HT CABLE AND SERVICING OF TRANSFORMER, VCB AND GOD UNDER AGE E/M OF GE (ARMY) AHMEDABAD

Excavation in trenches in any type of soft/ loose soil not exceeding 1.5 Meter in width and not exceeding 1.5 Meter in depth and getting out all as required for laying of cables, foundation filling of poles or stays. Complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling, in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each all as required. Complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 meters and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meter above the starting point. Complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying of DWC (double wall corrugated) HDPE pipe, ISI marked, IS 16205 (part 24) : 2017 Part II of outer dia 77 mm and inner dia 63mm with smooth internal and profiled external surface for non pressure underground cables including all connected accessories like coupler, o-ring etc complete all as specifed and as directed.

Steel tubes ISI marked light grade galvanised with all fittings fixed to walls/ poles as required of following sizes:- Complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour and tools for horizontal boring upto 20cm dia through road/ path/ floor for passing UG Cables by using trench less technology for laying complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Galvanised Iron/ DWC pipe will be measured and paid seperately.

Servicing of step up/ down transformer 63 KVA to 250 KVA after dismantling HT/ LT side cable terminals, earthing connections, opening top cover, taking out transformer oil, transformer core carefully, cleaning the sludge and carbon particle from main tank and conservator tank, taking out burnt HT/ LT bush rods and HT/ LT bushing and re-assembling, refilling the transformer oil, making electrical/ earthing connections using suitable size of Aluminium/ Copper lugs after repair/ replacement of burnt/ unserviceable parts including transportation from site to repairer shop and back to site including testing and recommissioning complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The major parts required for the repair will be measured and paid separately under relevant items. The nuts, bolts, washers required for repairing are deemed to be including in the quoted rates.

Material and labour for dehydration of transformer oil with mobile transformer filteration plant at site with all required accessories connected to transformer and carrying out filteration of old transformer oil for the desired dielectric strength of 50 KV at 2.5mm gap complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - Test certificate shall be submitted before and after filteration for dielectric strength.

Material and labour for top up of new transformer oil low viscoscity EHV grade confirming to IS-335 with the help of filteration machine including drain out complete low viscosity carbonised transformer oil complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour detection and locating of cable fault in underground damaged HT cable any size of any length and any type using cable fault detector/ locator machine of accuracy to 2 meters, vehicle mounted for various locations under GE (A) Ahmedabad including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of strata of size required for visually inspection/ repairing the damaged cable when and where directed by Engr-in-Charge. Complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of size 25mm x 4mm galvanised iron strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/ pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthling etc, as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for pipe in pipe chemical earthing with galvanised iron pipe electrode 3.0 meter long having outer pipe dia 80mm & inner pipe dia 50mm duly filled with highly conductive and anti corrosive compound of required quantity having chemical composition Bentonite 40%, copper sulphate 20%, Gypsom 5%, Graphite 10%, Alum 5%, Zinc sulphate 10%, Aluminium Sulphate 10% buried in ground by digging a bore of 150mm dia surrounded by soil friendly backfill compound non soluble in water including connection with galvanised earth strip 32mm x 6mm, making plain cement concrete pit of size 0.3 meter x 0.3 meter x 0.3 meter (inner size) in mix 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) with RCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), 40mm thick cover reinforced with 8mm dia mild steel bars 3 Numbers both ways with lifting hook made out of 8mm dia bar and testing on completion to achieve value not more than 1.0 ohm complete. Supply and fix of cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling cross arms of any size from the existing poles by disconnecting from the insulators and keeping at side for re-use/ re-fixing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing pin type, porcelain vitreous white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150mm height 150mm dia for 11000 volts grade. complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of existing GOD outdoor type 11 KV complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs gland operated AIR Break Switch tripple pole mechanically operated mounted on insulator & steel frame with operating mechanism work from ground level suitable for 11 KV for current rating upto 400 Amp of approved make with and including operting rod, Galvanised iron tubing 25mm dia medium grade single piece of 6.2 RM and handle complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- AB Switch shall be consists of 05 insulators per phase and 15 isolators in all.

Supply and fix lightning arresters explusion type complete with all fittings transmission class discharge capacity 65 Kilo Amp suitable for 11000 volts complete including taking out old unserviceable lightning arrester complete all as specified and as directed.

Suply and fixing for replacement of MCCB 4 pole, 415V, Adjustable type, 200 Amps with breaking capacity 36 KA complete all as specified and as directed.

MCCB 4 pole, 415 V, adjustable type, 250 Amps with breaking capacity 36 KA complete all as specified and as directed.

MCCB 4 pole, 415 V, adjustable type, 400 Amps with breaking capacity 36 KA complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced of any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for construction of brick masonary platform in cement mortar 1:4 of size 2400mm x 1800mm x 1200mm for outdoor type transformer having sides finished with brick work with plaster complete with plain cement concrete foundation of 1:5:10 type E2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) and plain cement concrete platform at top with 30 cm thick of plain cement concrete 1:5:10 type E2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) and 10cm thick of plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and having brick steps at one side, complete with XPM jali duty welded with angle iron of size 50mm x 50mm x 6mm all around upto 0.6meter, including excavation and earth work in any type soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil upto 50 metre complete all as shown on drawing, as specified and as directed.

Cutting bushes, levelling the area around E/M installation, sub stations, pole structure etc including surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out roots etc and throw away not less than 50 meter from the site and making good complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for dismantling Vaccum circuit breakers of rating upto 630 Amp, 11 KV, 3 Phase, by removing incoming and outgoing cable connections, removing busbars, current transformers, moving and fixed contacts cleaning all the parts with CTC, servicing of spring charge motor, checking the healthiness of tripping and closing coils, improving the insulation resistance value and reassembling the same complete all as sepcified and as directed. Note: Work should be carried out in presence of competent service Engineer.

Material and labour for calibration of following relays, setting the relays for the fault levels as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and testing the operation of Vaccum Circuit Breaker after installation of relays by simulating different types of faults complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Work should be carried out by competent service Engineer and report should be submitted on post completion of calibration.
