Laying D.I. pipes (All types & Class) including earth work in excavation in trenches, shoring of adequate width(if necessary) having minimum depth to keep the top surface of pipe 1.00M below of the existing ground level in any kind of soil mixed with boulder, metal crust, concrete pavement, any road sub-grade and its flank etc., dewatering the trenches, preparing the bottom surface of the trenches for continuous bedding including sand filling(if necessary) or over ground installation to cross ditches etc. supported with RCC pillars ( size- as per design or departmental drawing) as & when necessary and fitting, fixing, jointing (all types of joints) valves, specials etc. as per requirement, in position, cutting, chamfering of pipes as required, carriage of materials ( pipe & rubber ring) from departmental store to work site, constructing sluice valve chambers including supply and fitting in position sluice valve of different dia. as per requirement , filling of the trenches with excavated materials, consolidating the same in layers, guarding trenches with temporary bamboo railing or using safety tape for safety where necessary, emergency horizontal auger boring ( for roads other than NH & SH) where necessary, removing the surplus materials from site including all labour charges, tools and plants, hydraulic pressure testing, cleaning and disinfecting of pipe line ( residual chlorine not less than 10 mg/L after 24 hours-test report should be produced) etc. complete in all respect as per IS 12288-1987(latest edition) and instruction of E.I.C. including providing of as built drawing of pipe line (6 sets) after completion. [Only the pipes and rubber rings of different dia. will be supplied departmentally. All types of specials of approved make where necessary will be supplied by the agency. The rate will be excluding the cost of supplying,fitting and fixing of valves in position and construction of valve chamber, which will be paid as separate item.]N. B. i) Any deviation from required clear cover of minm. 1.00 mtr. has to be got permitted by the EIC and payment will be made on prorata basis over the rate of entire item for deviation more than (-10%) ii) 25% payment against this item will be withheld till hydraulic testing,cleaning ,disinfecting of pipeline including submitting completion drawing are done.

Restoration of Concrete Road by box cutting of required depth using single brick flat soling of picked jhama bricks ,75 mm. thick nominal mix C.C. (1:2:4) with Pakur variety stone and 100 mm. thick nominal mix C.C. (1:1.5:3) with Pakur variety stone using 3 kg of reinforcing bar of approved make/sqm with necessary shuttering with wooden plank/ ply board as per direction of the E.I.C.

Restoration of Bituminous Macadam Road by supplying and laying 100 mm stone dust,100 mm brick aggregate including dressing in proper level,followed by prime coat,tack coat and supplying ,laying,spreading and consolidating stone metal of 2.5 cm down size by road roller/vibratory plate compactor to thickness of 75 mm followed by 50 mm thick bituminous macadam as per West Bengal PWD (Roads) code of practice and then supplying ,laying 2.5 cm premixed carpet with 19 mm down stone chips with hot mix at 55 to 65 kg of chips including loading,heating the mix to the required temperature and mixing including spreading the premixed stone chips over the surface at 25 to 30.5 cum/100 sqm including applying seal coat.After cleaning and scrapping the macadam surface and supplying and binding top with dry coarse sand(old serviceable materials to be used along with new materials as per direction of Engineer in charge .
