Notes:- (a) The work of periodical services shall be carried out as up to G+1 building. Necessary steel scaffolding shall be provided by the contractor. All safety measures shall be strictly adhered. (b) Contractor shall also ensure medical/life insurance cover for the labour party and the copy of the same shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE through EIC. (c) The contractor shall submit the guarantee of 5 years life for item Nos 14 & 15 ( Two coats of Premium acrylic emulsion paint on exterior surfaces) (d) The work item No.02 ( one coats of tile guard paint on roof and Premium acrylic emulsion paint on exterior surfaces) shall be applied by mechanical sprayer through authorized company applicator of approved shade, necessary certificates of authorised applicator has to be submitted by contractor before commencement of work. (e) Contractor should procure entire qty required for item No's 01,14 & 15 as per CA qty at a time or in various consignemnts as per requirement (with minimum requirement of three months) and material shall be stored in covered godown /store room in such a manner as to prevent deterioration or any damage. The storage, accounting and preservation of material procured by the contractor shall be done as per standard engineering practice till the same is incorporated in the work and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate/amount quoted by the tenderer. (f) Material store room shall be provided with two locks on each door. The key of one lock at each door shall remain with the Engineer-in-charge or his representative and that of the other lock with the contractor‟s authorised agent at site of works so that material is removed from the godown only according to daily requirement with the knowledge of both the parties. (g) The contractor shall submit original purchase vouchers for the total quantity of material to be incorporated in the work. (h) Painting of roof tiles (Item No 02) is required to be carried out on slopping roof, chajja etc upto height 10 m above GL and contractor is required to make necessary arrangements for water and electricity required for jet washing and rate quoted is deemeed to be included for above.

M&L for preparation of old treated mangalore pattern roof tile surface by cleaning the surfaces with jet washing and wire brushes to remove all existing fungal growth etc. and applying one coats of antifungal paint using Asian paints or equivalent tile guard paint complete all as per manufacturer's instructions. Note:- The work shall be carried out on upto double storey slopping roof, chajja etc. and contractor is required to make necessary arrangements for water and electricity required for jet washing and rate quoted is deemed to be included for the same.

Dismantling single layer of mangalore pattern tiles in roofing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for roof tiles mangalore pattern interlocking at side joints, laid dry complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No.04 above but except tiles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for ridge or hip tiles to suit mangalore pattern or roofing tiles bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 using water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster of any description including raking out joints, hacking for key and scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces exc 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on steel/iron surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of epoxy paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coat of epoxy paint over a coat of epoxy primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 using liquid WPC over fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth (in patches) complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid under relevant items of BOQ.

Removing shrubs, vegetation, roots etc.. from external wall surfaces, by dismantling brick work, RCC or taking down plastering as the case may be, including dismantling SWR pipes, OH PVC service tanks etc. and refixing the same in original position and making good the surface dismantled (Area to be dismantled exc 1 Sqm and not exc 3 Sqm) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for treating holes, cracks etc. up to 10 mm by making V groove using patti blades and filling the cracks with cement and sand aggregate mixture developed with polymer modified mortar (PMM) with suitable polymer like home shield crack fill paste home shield advance latex plus and home shield cement mix plus (berger make or equivalent) and allowed to dry complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only water proofing compound (WPC) of approved quality complete all as specified and as directed.
