The rates quoted by the tenderer shall deemed to be inclusive for the following provisions in addition to the other conditions specified in the tender documents. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained at a later date on this account:- [i] The repairs shall be done by skilled workmen in the relevant field to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall engage sufficient manpower for the entire period so that progress of work shall not be hampered due to non availability of labour at any time. [ii] The contractor on getting information through Site order / Works diary regarding the nature of repair to be carried out, he shall immediately respond to the same and make all out efforts to carry out the same on priority within 48 hours. In case of any delay in responding / attending the repairs within 48 hours, the GE may at his absolute discretion impose penalty on the contractor at Rs. 100/- per day per each work ordered upto 05(Five) days and Rs. 200/- per day thereafter till completion of the work in case of delay without valid reasons as decided by GE. [iii] Further, the above penalty is applicable even for the multiple locations of work at the same period. It is the responsibility of contractor to make suitable arrangements for attending the repairs simultaneously at all the places. [iv] The decision of the GE as to whether a particular repair has been attended or not on a particular day will be final and binding. The above penalty shall be in addition to the provisions made in clause 50 of IAFW-2249 i.e (Compensation for delay in completion of work).

M & L for 25mm thick Block boards, grade 2 quality, interior grade, decorative type with decorative face veneer on one face fixed with nails in any position as in shelves of builtin cupboards including dismantling old boarding complete all as directed.

M & L for 2nd class hard wood plain, solid, straight chowkats and frames, wrought, framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at joints complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for factory made 2nd class hardwood 35mm thick, plain, framed, panelled shutters (two panels), with lock rail and panel of 9mm BWP commercial ply or 12mm veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces, the size of rail and stile as per IS:1003 (Part-I), kiln seasoned and chemically presure treated fitted to chowkats complete all as directed.

M & L for 2nd class hard wood 35mm thick Glazed and skeleton shutters, open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze, etc. divided into squares, with plain, chamfered or rounded, mitred and rebated sash bars any numbers, edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, gauge, etc. complete all as directed.

M & L for 40mm thick Flush shutters, solid core construction, with block board core and plywood face panels, commercial type on both sides with decorative face veneers with lapping / frmae to match complete all as specified and directed.

S & F solid PVC Door frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with MS Square tube, supplying & fixing in opening as specified complete all as directed.

S & F Factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top & bottom rails, MS frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC 'C' channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail, panelling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the MS frame welded / sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading, and jointed together with solvent cement, supplying & fixing in the frame at site as specified and as directed.

S & F Anodised aluminium windows / ventilators frame made of aluminium section of size 62mmx29.5mmx1.5mm thick, shutter made of section 38.0x20.0x1.5mm thick without sash bars including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, ruber neoprene packing, 2 Nos of 75mm SS butt hinges for each shutter, 2 Nos handles, 2 Nos tower bolts, anodised aluminum snap beading and fittings as required including taking down existing window / ventilator complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted wooden surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specifed and directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specifed and directed.

M & L for mild steel framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering.
