MAINTENANCE/ REPAIR INCLUDING PAINTING OF STEEL FURNITURE AT MD/ OTM ACCN UNDER AOR OF GE ROORKEE

Amount

A) Removal of following existing unserviceable components of various MES F/DB/FD/TP/MAP furniture items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, screwing, weldging, glueing, providing hinges, denting, placing everypart in-tact, as applicable as per drgs. B) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units of GE Roorkee Cantt including BSO Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Table Office Officer Steel

a) Legs, as per drg

b) Lock of drawer as per drg (Make-GODREJ/ HETTICH /LINK/RINOX)

c) Repairs to Drawer/shutter by replacing old u/s parts with new parts including tinkering/denting, welding, etc. all as shown, as specified & as directed by Engr-in-Chg.

e) PVC Shoes std quality all as per drg

f) Welding the joints of legs / square tube as per drg

d) Removing old unserviceable cane from chair verandah & recaning the chairs etc with approved new plastic cane 4 mm wide half round as per Matt Pattern all as specified(colour of cane shall approved by EIC/GE

(e) Removing old broken PVC seat & Back of each verandah and S&F new PVC Seat and back 4mm thick as specified and directed

a) 12 mm thick plywood top Marine grade (Make-Century ply/Greenply/Archidply) as per existing shape and size with 8 Nos shunken nut/bolts, appropriate hole shall be made with elecrtic drill machine complete rest all as drg and as directed

b) Hard rubber shoe std quality as per drg

c) Welding work wherever required as directed by EIC

Chair Computer/Revolving/chair visitor

(a) S&F new seat made of 12mm thick hot pressed plywood with fabric polyproplene/acrelic (range of fabrics not less than Rs 300/ Rm) and mouled polyurethene foam 40 Density with PVC lipping all round complete all as shown on drawing.

(b) All as above but back complete.

(c) PU arms as per drg

(d) Complete pedestal assy std quality complete all as per drg and directed.

(e) Supplying and fixing new twin wheel castors of required dia complete all as directed.

(f) Supply & fix new chrome free cylinder tube shall be fixed complete all as per drg and directed.

(g) Supply & fix new Locking lever assembely as shown in drawing complete all as directed.

Charpoy GI pipe ply top

a) 12 mm thick plywood top Marine grade (Make-Century ply/Greenply/Archidply) with teak wood half round bead as per existing shape and size with shunken nut/bolts as required, appropriate hole shall be made with elecrtic drill machine complete rest all as drg and as directed

b) S&F stiffener in replacement of 25 mm mild steel square tube 80 cm long not less than 16 Gauge in thickness each welded to GI Charpoy pipe complete all as specified and directed.

c) S&F in replacemet of long rail of 32 mm dia Medium grade GI pipes ISI Marked all as specified and shown on drg Make of pipe Jindal/Prakash/TATA complete all as specified and directed.

d) Replacement of unserviceable short rail from charpoy GI pipe 32mm bore but "except pipe" including cutting threading etc as required and directed. Note : Pipe shall be used from unserviceable long rail obtained from item No 13 (c) here in before.

e) Replacement of unservicable legs from charpoy GI pipe 32mm dia but "except pipe" including cutting threading etc as required and directed with bottom plug made of Sal wood and flat iron clamp 02 Nos for MNF set duly painted with two coats of black paint complete all as specified and directed. Note : Pipe obtained from ser item No 13 (c) & (d) above shall be used for this items.

f) S&F in replacement of GI 3 way elbow 32 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

g) S&F in replacement of 32mm check nuts complete all as specified and directed.

h) Welding work wherever required as directed by EIC

f) Head rest/foot rest including complete frame complete shall be of 18 mm thick MDF board exterior grade (Grade I, Type-II) ISI marked (Make: Action Tesa/Century Prowud from Century Ply/Green Panelmax from Geenply) with 0.8 mm thick laminate on both side in colour/shade as approved by EIC/GE with 2 mm thick PVC edging of Make-Rehau/Pegasus/Kynex shall be fixed on all four sides with strong bonded chemical adhesive through hot pressed machine complete rest all as per drg.

A) M&L for hammertone paint with shade as approved by EIC/GE over a coat of primer through spray machine , both internally & externally for item as required and for rest of item shall be painted two coat of synthetic enamel paint with shade as approved by EIC/GE over a coat of primer through spray machine , both internally & externally to the following furniture articles, all are of MES pattern viz F/FD/DB/MAP series or Similar items including removing of dust, dirts,dents etc and removing of existing paint both internally & externally , applying putty to level the surface before primer/painting, all as specified and shown on drgs and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
