Notes for Serial Item No. 1: [a] MANPOWER TO BE EMPLOYED: The contractor shall be required to employ 02 Nos. of lift Technicians per shift of 08 hours in 02 shifts per day and 01 No. lift technician in night shift on all days including Sunday and holidays by contractor for Naushakti Vihar and SVN Colony Separately for each location, who will also look after the lifts at Nirman Park & CE(N) Complex and 02 lift technicians in general shift of 08 hours per day for OTM area. All the staff employed for maintenance shall be reported to AGE [E/M]/ office daily and will submit day to day progress duly entered in the revelant registers. [b] The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of all Spares (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic) such as Push buttons, Door rollers, guide shoes, Brake coils, limit switches, door couplers, alarms, Position indicating lights, Auxilary contactors, LED lights, Relays, cabin fans, control transformers, control fuses, etc. including consumables such as librication oil, grease, etc.

[c] All the safety measures including ARDs shall be ensured for serviceable condition round the clock and nothing extra shall be paid on these accounts. [d] Spares catered vide Serial Item No. 2 to 21 of BoQ shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply Only" whenever required and rate quoted for Serial Item No. 1 of BoQ shall be excluding the same. However, fixing / repairs/ taking down shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted. [e] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of testing of each lift by Licensed Lift Inspector/competent Person of Government of Andhra Pradesh for the worthiness certificate TWICE during the contract period for the safety of lift. Certificate issued by the Licensed Lift Inspector shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge and a copy of Certificate shall be displayed in all Lift Cabins as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. [f] Emergency Light and necessary tools shall be available in a tool box in the shift for smooth functioning of lifts. [g] Conveyance and communication system like two wheelers, mobile phone etc. shall be provided by the contractor to all Lift Mechanics and Helpers. [h] The contractor shall abide by the latest Labour Rules and Minimum Wages Act. [i] Wages paid by the contractor to the persons employed shall not be less than the minimum wages fixed by State / Central Government from time to time whichever is higher.

[j] The contractor is responsible for making subscription towards Insurance, EPF, ESI, Labour Welfare Cess etc., as applicable and shall pay Gratuity, Bonus etc to the Workmen as per existing Labour Rules / Acts / Regulations and rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same. [k] DRESS CODE: The contractor shall provide the workmen with Dark Blue Colour Uniform [Formal Pant & T-Shirt] with labels showing / printed i.e. "Name of the Firm and Designation" on Front and "GE [U-II] [V]" on the back of the T-Shirt along with protective clothing / gear. The contractor shall also provide shoes to the workers and the persons shall not be allowed to enter the work site without wearing shoes. [l] The contractor shall be responsible for all Accidents / Injuries happening to the workmen. Any accident causing Minor / Fatal Injury, Partial Disability due to any untoward incident or non-adherence to Safety and IE Regulations or fault in maintaining of Lifts System / Safety Mechanism or on account of any mishandling / wrong operation / lack of knowledge of safety precautions or on account of any circumstances beyond his/their control, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims of compensation to the deceased, failing which department will have a right to recover any sum indicated / claimed by Labour Commissioner / Court authorities. No claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. No compensation is payable by the department on this account. Contractor shall provide first aid boxes to meet any emergency situations. [m] Tenderer to upload MoU obtained from the respective OEM of lift to provide technical support, trained persons for carrying out repairs/ replacement & testing of lift components/ accessories/ controllers through OEM only along with technical bid and submit hard copy of the same before opening of finance bids. [n] Periodical checks, maintenance, repairs and overhauling as and when required to all mechanical parts of lifts,electric motors,repair/maintenance of Gear Unit, repair/maintenance of Door Drive, Controllers, Pulleys, Limit switches,Relays etc, complete all as per manufacturers recommendations and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. All the safety measures including ARDs shall be ensured for serviceable condition round the clock and cost of their spares,batteries etc. shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted.Nothing extra shall be paid on these accounts.

M & L for Rewinding Main Motor of 9 KW Capacity, 3 Phase, 380 Volts, 1440 RPM using super enamelled copper conductor of suitable gauge including insulation, varnishing, packing,replacing bearing, cleaning , greasing including carefully dismantling the motor from its intalled position,transportation,re-installation back,including supply and replacement of bolts,nuts and washers etc and testing on completion for satisfactory functioning. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Rewinding Main Motor of 11 KW Capacity, 3 Phase, 380 Volts, 1440 RPM using super enamelled copper conductor of suitable gauge including insulation, varnishing, packing and testing etc, cleaning, greasing etc. and testing including replacement of nuts and bolts for foundation etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 1.5mm thick homogenious PVC sheets,any pattern/ colour, fixed with approved rubber based adhesive as in floors complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F MCCB 415 V , 25 KA, 4 Pole, 100 Amps, 50Hz with company made sheet steel enclosure with built in netral link including connecting up incoming and outgoing cables with suitable stainless steel cable glands and aluminium cable lugs and fixing on wall surfaces including taking down existing unserviceable main switch of any description complete all as specified and as directed.
