Disconnecting and removing the water and electric connections carefully from the existing submersible pump sets of any capacity, any size,any make and taking out the submersible pump set of alongwith column pipe 100 mm dia,electric cable and fittings of bore well or strip opening the pump set (approximately 450 feets depth of pump set from GL) and taking out the pump set alongwith pipes and fittings for flushing the bore well or strip opening the pump set for repairs, replacement of worn out spares, fixing of serviceable spares assembling the pump set completely, testing of pump set, lowering the pump set inside the bore well after repairs, including connecting back the water and electric connections, Commissioning of pump set for satisfactory operation on its full load complete all as specified & directed. NOTES : 1. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 2. Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 50, The existing pipes & flanged joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints alongwith flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new flange joint, the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. Red paint and writing " capacity of tank, date of cleaning and due date of cleaning" on wall as specified and as directed. Notes: (i)The work will be got executed from the reputed specialized water tank cleaner as approved by GE. (ii) All the sludge materials / fungus removed from the underground sump / semi underground sump and over head tanks will be removed outside defence land from the site. (iii) All underground sump / semi underground sum and overhead tanks will cleaned in all respect upto 3 mtr around the water tanks. (iv) All T & P required for the cleaning of tanks / Sumps will be arranged by the contractor. (v) The wire mesh of ventilations of the tank shall be replaced with new mesh. (vi) The cost of the same shall be deemed included in the respective items.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing in replacement of unserviceable CI/DI pipes specials of any size and any type complete of size upto 200mm dia , bend , Y junction , Tee, reducer, tail piece, spigot socketed/ spigot flanged/ flanged end/ plain end any type as required at site and as laid in trenches,or floor/under road complete, all as specified and directed. Note :- Earth work in excavation, returning filling in and removal & joints shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items of Schedule ‘A’

Labour only for checking the serviceability of the pipe line of any description and fixed in any position & replacement of un-serviceable/damaged/ broken parts either in single or in combination, dismantling and re-assembling the pipe fittings and making the pipe lines serviceable, fixing the pipe fittings in position, connecting to water supply and its testing on installation complete, all as specified and directed, by Engr-in-charge by emplooying one plumber and one helper by receving complaint slip from MES service centre and returning the same after completion the job to MES authority complete, all as specified and directed here in after in notes. NOTES :- (i) Replacement of parts i.e nipple, union, elbow, bend, reducer & etc for 15/20/25/40/50mm GI pipe fittings, if any required at site, shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A' as ‘supply only. (ii) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools etc required for checking and making the pipe fittings in serviceable conditions, its fixing in position and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost for checking and fixing of pipe fittings of any description on walls / ground etc i.e. in any position at site. (iii) Required parts ie. thread/ adhesive etc and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the water supply line in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in above respective item. (iv) Contractor’s quoted rates is deemed to include for inspection/checking the serviceability of the pipe line removing the damaged unserviceable / broken parts, fixing the new parts.

M & L for cleaning/ scraping of steel/ cast iron surfaces of existing dull painting of pump/motor of 7.5/10/15/20HP capacity & pipe in side PH building upto 150mm dia & appx 5 RM connecting pipe lines and valves etc. and applying two coats of synthetic enameled paint over a coat of red oxide primer by spray machine complete all as specified and directed. Note : The pump/motor, valves, connected pipe line etc. shall be painted according to colour code specified as per IS Instructions and as directed at site.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing in replacement of unserviceable bib taps for 15mm/20mm bore pipe chromium plated, cast copper alloy with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cutting of the existing 80/100 150 mm bore of GI/ CI pipe line for rectifying leakage and reducing to required length, in position, for insertion of collars or Tee & other fittings including dewatering etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- CI fittings, jointing materials and earth work shall be measured and paid separately. How ever cost of dewatering is included in the quoted rates.

Collecting the sample of water from each source "bore well" and testing the sample for physical, chemical & bacteriological parameters and submitting the report in duplicate with comparison by IS-10500, complete for 29 parameter.
