M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of exterior wall by complete removal of existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers, then washing the surface with Bleaching powder solution for treatment of fungal growth and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint of required shade (wallmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of point and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of interior wall by application of wall care putty to remove the dent and to make the surface even and smooth by grinding or rubbing with sand paper and applying two coats of acrylic distemper over a coat of primer using roller all as specified and prescribed by manufacturer of paint/ distemper and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for item No. 9 to 12:- (i) The newly plastered surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of emulsion paint. The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii) The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii) All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv) after carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building. (v) The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE / AGE (I). (vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor.

Dismantling and taking down old unserviceable point wiring of any type (light, fan, socket, power etc) complete with fitting such as switches, sockets, ceiling roses, pendants, lamp holders, light fitting etc including CI/ pressed steel terminals, switch box and making good the disturbed surface of wall/ floor etc to match with the existing surfaces of wall/ floor complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) If the contractor fail to make good the disturbed surface of wall/ floor etc and do not match with the existing surface of wall/ floor to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge, a recovery of @ Rs. 50/- per RM will be made from payment due to the Contractor. In case of any dispute, the decision of Accepting Officer will be final and binding. (ii) Old fittings/ fixtures / accessories like switches, sockets, lamp holders, regulators etc., if found in serviceable condition shall be removed carefully for reuse in the work or taking on charge. (iii) Only old unserviceable items will be considered in credit Sch.
