Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

A copy of the CEIG Class I Electrical Contractor Certificate /Licence with validity.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Each of the documents uploaded to the e-portal should be self-attested by the contractor or an authorized representative in case of firm /company.

The Electronic document i.e., financial bid of all the participated bidder will be opened after approval of the technical bid qualification among eligible bidders the lowest bidder will be identified. If the lowest bidder fails to produce the original documents for entering into an agreement or the original documents submitted does not match with the uploaded documents or found false, then his bid is treated as non-responsive bid as per clause-26(4) of the KTPP rules & his name would be recommended for the removal from the select list of KPWD enrolment and barred from participation in any of the tenders invited by the KNNL apart from forfeiting the EMD paid through e-cash.

Evaluation will be done based on the information provided by the contractor as per the document uploaded through e-procurement the correctness of the uploaded document will be verified if necessary.

The bidder at the time of execution of the agreement should give a detailed execution plan and fortnightly program to complete the work in full manner in 6 Months without fail. The program can be modified with mutual consent.

Any bidders who is otherwise technically qualified withdraws from the bidding process at any stage before a final decision taken on the tender, the EMD of such bidder shall be forfeited, the name of such bidder shall be recommended for removal from the KPWD contractors at least for a minimum period of one year in KNNL, besides making such bidders liable for black listing.

Any of the bidder who withdraws from the bidding process after completion of tender submission date at any stage before a final decision taken on the tender, the EMD of such bidder shall be forfeited and the name of such bidder shall be removed from the select list of KPWD registration and barred from participation in any of the tenders invited by KNNL thereafter

The rates quoted by the Contractor shall be deemed to be exclusive taxes that the contractor will have to pay for the performance of this contract. The Employer will perform such duties in regard to the deduction of such taxes at source as per applicable law. As per Govt. order FD:447:Exependiture:12/2022 Bangalore dt. 30-7-2022 & Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited circular No:KNNL/FD/GST/2022-23/3144 dt:18.08.2022 G.S.T will be paid at 18% or applicable rates at the time of payment of RA Bills, subject to verification

The bidders shall ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-procurement on or before the last date of bid submission (Through Electronic Media)

The tenderer is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The department shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches.

Even though the agency/firm meets the qualifying criteria, they are subjected to disqualification if they have made misleading or false representations in the forms, statements and attachments submitted in proof of the qualification requirements and incomplete filling of details in the prequalification document.

The evaluation of pre-qualification will be done based on the information provided by the contractor as per the documents uploaded through e-procurement. The correctness of the uploaded documents will be verified if necessary.

Conditional tenders will be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Taxes will be deducted at the prevailing rates.

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work before attending and also submitting their tenders.

Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Ltd., Reserves the right to verify the correctness of the statements and documents furnished and inspect the jobs executed by the agency/firm, if found necessary.

The Tenders are invited as per Standard tender Bid Document of KW-2.

All relevant documents as per the KNNL need to be uploaded while submitting bid in general documents provision in KPP portal.

Contractors should follow strictly prevailing rules of labour act.

Bidders should not be under any declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and Fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka.

Scanned Signature of the Bidder/Authorized Representative in case of firm/company to be attached while uploading bid documents along with valid power of attorney.

The Contractor should adhere to the accepted execution plan submitted by his under any circumstances without linking to the pending payment of the work & also land acquisition problem if any.

The payment of bills of this work will be made as and when the letter of credit is received under the same head of account from KNNL/Government of Karnataka.

Relevant documents must be uploaded wherever necessary.

Bidder those should having Annual Turnover of more than Rs.100.00crores shall submit GST E-Invoice, while claiming the Bills under the above work.

As per KTPP Act Rule 26A i.eDebarment of tenderers: The procurement entity may debar tenderer for a period not exceeding 3 years from participation in its tenders following such procedures as may be prescribed on the ground that tenderer is engaged in corrupt or fraudulent practices in competing or executing the contract including misleading the procuring entity or any stage of procurement activity with a fraudulent intention. Action can be taken accordingly

In case of death of contractor after executing the agreement commencement of the work ,his legal heir if any eligible registered contractor and willing can execute and complete the work at the accepted tender rates irrespective of the cost of the work.

As per GO FD -5 Exp-12/2023 Dated:- 15/05/2023, The Contract shall be abide to provide e-Bank Guarantee towards Security Deposits.

Royalty will be deducted as per prevailing government circular No mines and geology dept/DCB/2024-25 Date:24.01.2025.

Directions and Instructions given regarding MDP in the circular of departments of Mines and Geology dated: 07.11.2023 & govt of karntaka Letter No: WRD 35 PAC 2023 dated 05.06.2024 Should be compulsorily followed(only for concerned work).

The Contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Employer at the rate per day stated As per PWG 65 clause 2 vide MD ltr no.7224 dtd 30/01/2023.

If the Intended Completion Date is extended after liquidated damages have been paid, the Employer shall correct any overpayment of liquidated damages by the Contractor by adjusting the next payment of bill.

The intending Bidder should note that, if any of lands either in part/parts are in whole required for the work is not acquired by the Nigam, It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to take the possession of such land and start the work by obtaining consent of the land owners before commencement of work at no extra cost to the Nigam and no claim/delays what sure relating to and account of non-availability of land would be entertained.

Maintenance period or the defect liability period for this work is 12 months from the date of completion of work.

The validity period of EMD shall be for a minimum period of 225 days from the date of opening of the tenders.

Within 20 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit in any of the forms given below for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price plus additional security for unbalanced tenders (Difference between amount put to tender as per current CSR and quoted amount).

All materials on the Site, Plant, Equipment, Temporary Works and Works are deemed to be the property of the Employer, if the Contract is terminated because of a contractors default.

Amount put to tender is Exclusive of GST. GST will be paid to the tendered amount separately as per prevailing rates. The contractor should quote the rates Excluding GST.

AS per GO No LD300 LET 2006 Bangalore dated 18-01-2007 Cess at the rate of 1% of cost of construction will be deducted from the Bill towards building and other construction workers welfare fund.

The earnest money deposit of the successful Tenderer will be discharged when the Tenderer has signed the Agreement and furnished the required Performance Security.

Corrigendum will be published in web site for all modifications/corrections if any.

As per the Karnataka building and other construction workers welfare cess act 1996, 1% of the bill amount will be deducted from the bills.

Typo-graphical errors if any will not be the ground for any claims by the Contractor.

The contractor should take still photos / videos of the work before commencement of works, during execution and after completion compulsorily. These photos/ videos should be made available to the implementing officer, for immediate reference during review of works to enclose it with completion certificate.

The EMD of the unsuccessful bidder will be refunded only after the acceptance of the tender by the competent authority as per tender clause.

The tender inviting authority has got right either accepting tender or rejecting the tender without assigning any reasons.

The tender processing charges paid by the bidders are not refundable even if the tenders are cancelled.

The contractor should mention their recent correct postal address and e-mail address in the declaration form.

Incomplete tender documents will be rejected.
