M & L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete (Design mix) 30mm consolidated thickness with binder content @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix with mechanical paver finisher, rolled and consolidated with power roller exc 8 tonne but not exc 12 tonne capacity to required camber, gradient and super elevation, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas not exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required camber, gradient and super elevation, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Moorum or red bajri filling in floor or paving, laid in layers, leveled and rammed including watering, complete all as specified and directed.

Soling (or sub base) 200mm thick (in two layers of 100 mm spread thickness and each layer to be rolled and consolidated separately) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surfaces formed and rolled and consolidated to required camber, gradient and super elevation with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 150 mm thick compacted thickness WBM in two layers (each layer 75 mm thick) with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) of sand stone, flint or quartzite spread rolled and consolidated to required camber, gradient and super elevation with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen VG-30 @ 10 kg per 10 sqm and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete (Design mix) 40mm consolidated thickness with binder content @ 5.5% by weight of total mix with mechanical paver finisher, rolled and consolidated with power roller exc 8 tonne but not exc 12 tonne capacity to required camber, gradient and super elevation, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning and preparing road surfaces and applying reflective thermo plastic white or golden yellow road marking paint conforming to BIS-3262, laid down through road marking machine in a layer of CRYSTALEX and use of 5 Kg material per square meter for lines, dashes, arrows, Zebra marking etc by incorporating the white glass beads for reflectivity in required width, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement ABS Engineering plastic stud (Cat Eye) dynamically designed having high impact strength and fitted with 2 Nos. highly reflective reflectors on both sides including fixing arrangements as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

S & F in replacement delineator consisting of two Nos high performance 100 mm dia reflection and two Nos rectangular reflection of size 70x23mm and identically fixed on both sides of guide post. The body of guide post moulded in ABS plastic and fixed on powder coated steel pipe of 1010mm height. The weight of delineator shall not be less than 1780 gms including embedding of delineator in PCC (1:2:4) block of size not less than 30x30x30cm complete including use and waste of formwork as required all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement solar cat eyes (studs) made of aluminium dicasted body, 100% waterproof, both side reflectors, designed according to IP 65 of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm with shank not less than 60mm length, high efficiency mono crystaline solar panel(2.5 V/0.3 watt), one Ni-Mh or Ni-cd rechargable battery (1.2 V/1600 MA) having six super bright LEDs with 10000 to 18000 mcd (millicandela), view distance upto 1000 metre and flush road bearing capacity 10 MT, fixing in road by drilling a hole and with epoxy hardner etc as per manufacturer's instructions at the location, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work/stone boulder masonry, built in CM incl all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes and fittings, salt glazed ware, AC, PVC or RCC, internal bore of pipe 200 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m deep for foundation etc or for shafts, column footings or for laying cables etc not exc 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 Cm, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (soil) not exc 50 m distance and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L brick work with pulverized fuel Ash-lime bricks (old size fly ash bricks), straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in CM 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces in CM 1:4, finishing the surfaces fair and even, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement Concrete 1:2:4 mix type B1 (Using 20mm graded stone agg) as in coping, lintels, door cills etc including weatherings, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including necessary formwork, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying three coats of white wash after preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of 450 mm bore pipe, after they are laid and tested, complete all as specified and directed.
