M & L for attending break down of water supply pipe line and repair to CI water mains of size 100 mm to 200 mm dia at a given notice including necessary excavation in mud, in any type of soil by manual or using special T &P such as JCB etc. De-watering from the trenches by using pump sets, rectification of leakages, fixing of CI specials such as collars bends/tail peaces etc and making joints complete all as specified and directed. Note:- CI specials, lead Joints, D-Joints, Clamp joints etc shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ.

M&L for cleaning of under mentioned RCC over head reservoir, under ground sump/semi under ground sump of any size and any height of staging by using mechanical means and scientific cleaning by carrying out the following stages of cleaning process for disinfection of surfaces complete all as specified and directed. :- a) Cleaning of all external area around the tank by removal bushes/grass, leveling of surface all around 5 Mtr of water sump/OH tank. (b) The inner surface of the walls and ceilings of the tank shall be cleaned with high pressure jet pump after dewatering in the tank. (c) After thorough cleaning of the tank, removal of algae calcination and other dust particles with high pressure including hot water treatement @ 50 degree centigrade. (d) Vacum cleaning and sludge shall be removed by using pump and the sludge has to be disposed off at places as directed.

(e) After removing the sludge from tank, the floor and inner surfaces of the tank shall be cleaned by using an industrial vaccum cleaner and the tank shall be made fully dust free and disinfection with bio-degradable chemical/anti bacterial spray and surfaces to be proven non toxic. (f) After the treatment as mentioned at (e) above, the inner surface of walls and ceiling shall be treated with UV Radiation/Ozonization with UV rays. (g) After complete treatment is carried out, all inlet, over flow, delivery, wash out pipes, ladder and doors shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel black paint after thorough cleaning the surfaces and also the surfaces of sluice valves shall be painted with P.O. Red paint and writing "capacity of tank, date of cleaning and due date of cleaning" on walls as specified and as directed. (h) The wire mesh of ventilaters of the tank shall be replaced with new GI wire mesh.

(iii) Lighting arrangements if required to be provided by the contractor temporarily at his own arrangements and the amount quoted for that is deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate and electricity/diesel shall not be provided by the MES. (iv) Contractor will not be allowed more than one day to do the work inside of the each OH Tank / UG Sump to prevent interruption of water supply to the users.

Supply, Installation Testing & Commissioining of indoor type PLC (Programmable Logic controller) based Pump and Valve Automation, Protection panel with inbuilt wireless dual SIM Card communication, suitable for control and mointoring of 05 Nos pump set, 10 Nos motorised valves 06 No. pressure switched, 06 Nos Primming solenoid valves, 05 Nos solenoid air release valve. The panel should be of minium size 1000 x 950x300 mm front openable type, fabricated from 2 mm thick stainless steel sheet 316 L & mounting channel 75 mm made out of aluminum , with proper ferrule & cable gland, internal wiring with pvc insulated multistranded copper conductor FRLS cable of adequate size with 02 Nos of earthing for the panel and provisionof future extentation if required. Labour only for Disconnecting the existing non functional submersible pump set from electric supply from panel, dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve, removing and lifting out submersible pump set of any description and capacity upto 20/15 HP and in any position, along with existing column pipe 100mm dia and existing submersible cable of any size from the bore well (approximately 450 feet depth of pump set from GL) and staking the pump and column pipes near by the bore well for inspection complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc. shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

(ii). Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 50, The existing pipes & flanged joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints along with flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new flange joint, the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. However cleaning of pipes if any required shall be measured & paid separately.
