AME for repairs, reconditioning and overhauling of Transformers available in PPC, BSM and VSRH substations in ESD-North,Tirumala for 2026-27

Routine maintenance of transformer, including testing of insulation resistance, oil break down strength. Reconditioning / replacement of silicazel, cleaning of transformer and topping upto oil level if required (extra cost will be paid for oil).

Scope of work Monthly (a) Checking of oil leakage at Tank, bushing and cleaning etc., (b) Checking oil level in conservator tank (c) Checking of Earth Flat connections at transformers. (d) Checking colour of Silica gel and reactivating or replacing. (e) Checking the diaphragm for cracks. (f) Maintenance Reports to be submitted. Quarterly (a) Measurement of Voltages at Transformer and tail ends of the feeder. (b) Measurement of loads in ampehers on earth (c) Taking IR values of the winding. (d) Above Maintenance Reports to be submitted. Yearly (a) Collecting oil samples for di-electric strength (b) Above Reports to be submitted.

Testing of Transformer oil for dielectric breakdown strength.

Filteration of transformer oil as per ISS specifications filters to die electric strength above 40 K.V. (per Ltr)

Removing the existing transformer from the plinth / Pole and refixing the standby transformer of following capacity including connections etc., complete.

Replacing old and unserviceable gasket of top cover plate of transformer having following capacity.

Replacing old and unserviceable gasket of bushing for the following Transformer capacity.

Replacement the H T / L. T burntout winding coils of distribution transformer including rewinding, varnishing and vaccuming etc.,duly retaining the removed burnt winding coils by the Contractor / Firm

For copper coils

Insulating HT / LT copper / aluminium coils for Transformers.

Painting to transformer with 2 coats Zinchromate red oxide duly scraping existing paint followed by 2 coats of hammerton grey paint etc., complete.

Replacing for distribution Transformer by new one.

Supply and erecting porcelain disc type insulator suitable for 11KV line with suitable hardware on existing cross arms.

Supply and fixing of 11 KV pin Insulator (IS 731/1971 ) with minimum creepage distance of 300 mm on existing cross arm including all accessories like Hot dip GI spindle and nuts etc.,

Supply and erecting porcelain post type insulator suitable for 11KV line with suitable hardware on existing cross arms.

Supply and fixing of LT pocelain pininsulator as per IS 1447-1997 suitable for working voltage 1100 V including all accessories like Hot dip GI spindle and nuts etc.,.

Supply and fixing of 11 KV ,400 A 3 phase central post rotating double break type AB switch(isolator) as per IS 9921) without earth blade,gang operated ,Hozizontal type,operating mechanism with GI spring loaded reverse loop type fixed contact,solid HD electrolytic copper tubular moving contact with silver/Nicle plated at end points,9 Nos post insulators of 12 Kv(IS 2594 and IS 5350) ,Hot Dip galvenizing hardware,GI pipe,Nuts and bolts etc., complete

Supply of round bottom G.I sheet bucket of 9 Ltrs. Capacity as per IS:2546 made out of 24 gauge GI sheet with extra handle at bottom duly painted inside and red out side with printed with FIRE Mark for stand and hook and filled with sand and arranged to existing stand or hook. ( MR )

Providing floor mounting stand for keeping 4No of fire bucket 1500mm length, 900mm height made out of 40x40x6mm angle iron welded with 4 hooks and duly painted with one coat of red lead and two coats of enamel paint.

Quarry rubbish backing for revetment using granite variety from source confirming to the relevant ISI standards including cost and conveyance of all materials and stacking at site for pre-measurements etc., complete.

Measuring of earth resistance in the sub.station yard and building upto the required level if necessary by suitable methods, necessary instruments for measuring the resisance shall be arranged by the contractor at his cost. The resistance value shall be with in the permissible limit prescribed. A certificate for testing of earth resistance shall be furnished.

Screen painting on the new existing pre-cast slab available sub.station top of earth pit etc. indicating location, DOM : Date, Values: Ohms. The size of the letter should be minimum 25 mm. The work will have to be done at site

Painting with Aluminium paint grade-I of approved make including brushes to have an even shade including cost and conveyance of all materials as directed during execution complying with standard specifications, etc., complete. - Two coats for old iron work.

Less buy back offer for old oil from existing transformer
