Dismantling of flexible pavement (bituminous courses) by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled material up to a lead of 1 kilometre, as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Heavy Duty Bitumen Mastic Flooring of 30mm minimum thickness as per IS 1195 (Grade IV Industrial factory flooring) with industrial bitumen of grade 90/15 conforming to IS : 702, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope, including cleaning the surface, removal of debris etc. all complete as per specification and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge as per following Methodology • The existing surface shall be thoroughly cleaned of dust, loose materials, caked mud and other foreign matters with the help of brooms and gunny bags. • Providing and applying one coat of bituminous primer of approved make @ ratio of 0.03/kg per Sqm on prepared surface. • Mastic cooker is used to heat the mastic powder along with 12% Industrial Bitumen grade 90/15 up to 250°c. Mastic powder consists of followings: a) Filler – 18 % b) Fine Aggregate– 35% c) Coarse Aggregate – 35 % • Once the mastic is processed, the mass is transfered to the primer applied Floor and lay minimum thickness of 30mm as per required level and slope. • Finally the joints are leveled & smooth finished using blow lamp. The rate is inclusive of all above and nothing extra will be paid.
