RENOVATION TO HEAD WORKS OF JAGADALA MIP (RES) IN SADAR BLOCK UNDER DRIP PHASE II

Clearing and grubbing light jungle (covered with plants less than 30 cm. girth and open space between 50% to 70% on premeasurement including disposing of the debris clear of works site supplying all equipments, tools and plants labour required for the work etc. Complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in all kinds of soil including moorum, stoney earth, gravel etc. excepting all kinds of rock & boulders exceeding 0.014cum. in volume for dam base stripping.Cut-off trenches, outfall drains and stripping in borrow areas including rough dressing and dumping the excavated materials away from work site manually including stacking the useful materials with removal of all organic materials such as shrubs, bushes and uprooting of stumps & roots of trees with all leads, lifts & delifts with dewatering including supplying and maintenance of equipments, haul roads and approach roads with all labour and T&P materials required for the item with supervision charges, mobilization, demobilization, all taxes, royalty etc. complete in all respect as per approved design, drawing, & specification as directed by the Engineer –in-Charge. (Measurement is to be taken on finished approved level section).

Excavation of any approved type of soil from borrow area by mechanical means loading into and transportation by transporting vehicles and unloading the soil with all leads, lifts and delifts on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including dewatering whenever necessary and spreading and leveling the earth in layers of 15cm thick including re-handling of soils if required removal of all undesirable materials including all organic materials and breaking the clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm size and making ready for watering and compaction up to all height of dam or dyke from the stripped surface above down stream filter blanket or cut-off trench as the case may be as per the design, drawing, specification including all leads, lifts, de-lifts & cost of materials, all taxes, royalties, with mobilization and demobilization, supplying , maintenance of all machineries and equipments, with all materials, labour and T & P required for the item including stripping of borrow area, construction, maintenance, watering and lighting of haul and approach roads from borrow area to work site, cost and construction of coffer dam inclusive of supervision charges including illumination of work site when ever required till completion of work in all respect as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Measurement will be taken on finished compacted approved level section)

Compacting and watering up to O.M.C. rolling earthwork with PRR in embankment in layers not exceeding 0.23m. Power Road Roller to the required design density including mobilisation and demobilisation, supplying, running and maintenance charges of all machinaries and taxes of all materials, supplying labour and T&P materials required for the work as per approved design, drawing and specification etc.complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Measurement will be taken on finished compacted section of the fill under O.M.C. condition).

Ramming rolling earth work with light H.R.R in embankment in layers not exceeding 0.30m supplying all labour, machineries and T&P required for the work etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Supplying and spreading coarse sand of approved specification on the finished approved surface of earthdam with all leads & lifts complete for rock toe as per approved design and specification including all cost, conveyance royalty and all other taxes of all materials etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Supplying and spreading 40mm downgraded approved quality granite metal in filter in rock toe, rip rap and filter drains in earth dam or dyke to proper slope and level with all leads and lifts supplying all labour and T&P materials required for the work including all cost, conveyance and royalty of all materials etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing stone rip-rap to the slope of earth dam and dyke with quarried and blasted hard granite stone of size 0.30m and above including dumping on slope filling insterstices with small stones and wedges and packing surface to proper line and level including fixing wave breakers complete with all leads and lifts supplying all labour and T&P materials required for the work including all cost, conveyance royalty and all other taxes of all materials etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Removing old revetment & aprons of all heights and stacking the useful materials aside and repacking with old stones supplying all labour and T&P materials required for the work etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer in charge. (Work with Dept. stones, No cost of stone will be paid).

Providing dry rubble rock toe with H.G. stone of sizes 30cm and above with all leads and lifts including dumping with packing interstices properly and surface packing to proper line and level complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (No deduction to be made towords voids in finished section.)

Supplying and spreading of good quality moorum including cost, conveyance and royalty of moorum including rolling, ramming on the top of embankment etc.complete.as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation of foundation in hard or gravelly soil, dressing and levelling the bed of foundation to proper slope and level, profile to proper section and making it fit for laying concrete and depositing the excavated materials clear of work site with all leads and lifts including dewatering of water from the foundation if necessary supplying all labour and T&P required for the work etc.complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in stoney earth and gravel mixed with stone and boulders not exceeding 0.014 cum or all toughness above 0.03 cum.in volume by drilling holes and balsting including rough dressing as per specification of the department including stacking the useful balsted stone for reuse and disposal of the muck away from the work side with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost of explosive fuse detonators with all labour and T&P materials with all taxes required for the item finishing the slopes and bed and removal of the debriesetc.complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(Outturn of blasting will be considered as 0.70 cum. in 1.00 cum.)

Cutting in D.I. Rock not requiring blasting to be removed by pick axes and crow bars and including stacking the useful materials separately as ordered and depositing debris away from work site with all leads and lifts including rough dressing to the designed profile supplying all labour and T&P required for the work etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer in charge.(Measurement is to be taken on finished level section)

Providing Cement Concrete M15 grade with 20mm and down graded size crusher broken hard granite course aggregate quarried & free from weathered skin surface and other deletorious materials, quarry debris of approved quality clean and sharp sand of approved grading & quality conforming to design specification mixing by concrete mixer including hoisting lowering and laying the concrete in position to proper slope and level and compacting with Vibrators in layers not exceeding 0.15m depth and finishing the exposed surface smooth including watering, curing for required period providing beads and grooves including cost, conveyance, royalty and other taxes of all materials hire and running charges of the machineries including mobilisation of machinaries required for this item supplying all Labour and T&P materials required for the work etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Reinforced Cement Concrete M20 grade with 20mm and down graded size crusher broken hard granite course aggregate quarried & free from weathered skin surface and other deletorious materials,quarry debris of approved quality clean and sharp sand of approved grading & quality conforming to design specification mixing by concrete mixer including hoisting lowering and laying the concrete in position to proper slope and level and compacting with Vibrators in layers not exceeding 0.15m depth and finishing the exposed surface smooth including watering, curing for required period providing beads and grooves including cost, conveyance, royalty and other taxes of all materials (excluding the cost of reinforcement), hire and running charges of the machineries including mobilisation of machinaries required for this item supplying all Labour and T&P materials required for the work etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing rigid shuttering with the box type steel shuttering plates with keys for intermidiate construction joints in rafts of weir,barrage and dam blocks including cost of materials required supplying all labour,T&P required for the work etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer -in-charge including removal of forms.

Labour for straightening, cutting, bending, binding and tying the grills as per approved design and specification and placing the grills in position including cost, conveyance & other taxes of binding wire 18 to 20gauge and MS rods of approved quality (SAIL) complete in all respect including all leads & lifts from bending yard to placement spot with supply of all labour and T&P required for the work etc. as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(Weight of binding wire will not be considered for payment purpose)

Providing frame work for concrete with F1 finish for upstream faces of Dam, spillway, glasis of barrages, on exposed surfaces of foundation, block joints etc. at all heights with steel shuttering plates including supply of ties supports rigidly fixed and removal including making good to the damaged surface where necessary with all scaffolding gangway etc. including cost, conveyance and other taxes of all materials supplying all labour and T&P materials required for the item etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge .

Fixing 25mm dia anchor bars in foundation rock including drilling 35mm dia holes fixing wedged anchor and grouting with cement mortar(1:4) supplying all labour and T&P required for the work including cost, conveyance, Royalty and all other taxes of all materials etc. complete in all respect as directied by the Engineer in charge excluding cost of M S rod including pull testing of 30%of anchor bars (depth of holes only to be measured for payment purpose).

Dismantling and removing cement concrete works including stacking the useful materials for reuse and removing the debris away from work site with all leads and lifts supplying all labour and T&P required for the work etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing weep hole in brick masonary/ plain/Reiforced concrete abutment, wing wall, /return wall with 100mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing face complete including cost, conveyance and all other taxes of materials supplying all labour and T&P required for the work as per drawing and technical specifications as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Installation of Gabion boxes / mattress made out of hexagonal woven wireman type zinc with PVC coated gabion boxes of size such as (3.00 x1.00x1.00) cum with mesh size 100 mm x 120 mm inner and outer diameter of 2.70 / 3.7 mm mesh wire 3.4/4.4 mm aclvedg wire and 2.2 / 3.2 mm lacing wire respectively in accordance with international standard EN 10223, EN 10244 as per required at site filled with hard granite stone of size not less than 0.0025 cum and compacting the stone inside gabion boxes with minimum voids and tying sthching with lacing wire and having tensile strength 100 Kg / cm2 with spacing of rings @ 200 C/C and placing in position with the help of materials etc. complete as directed by the Engineer- in charge.

Rough stone dry packing in revetments and approns & rubble rock toe with Hard Granite stone not less than 30cm and above size free from weathered skin and laying the stone and packing over properly and scientifically approved surface including filling interstices with small stones by edging and hammering to proper slope and level supplying all labour and T&P materials required for the item etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (1/6th volume to be deducted towards voids.)

Filling the foundation and plinth with excavated earth with all leads and lifts including breaking clods to maximum 5cm.to 7cm.in size and watering and ramming supplying all labour and T&P required for the work etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer in-charge
