REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF WATER SYSTEM, PUMPS, MOTOR, CLEANING OF OH TANK AND UG SUMP AT DARJIPURA AF STN BARODA

Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for laying/taking out of cables,CI/GI pipe lines and getting out in sooft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms in soil all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of excavated material to a distance not exceding 50mtr from starting point and depositing where directed at a level not more than 1.5M above ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out unserviceable CI/GI water main from trenches including fittings / fixtures like bend, Tee, Union, Elbow etc with flanged ends all as specified and as directed for following size of pipes. Note: Excavation and earthwork will be measured and paid separately under appropriate items.

Supply and fix accessories, CI specials confirming to IS 1538 (any type radius and angle) such as bends, tapers, straight, increasing / decreasing or double socket / flanged end collars, connecting pieces etc, as required at site suitable for pipe upto 150mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 6 & 7 : Lead joints and jointing material shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Detection of leakage in main water line by necessary excavation in any type of soil, in any situation/depth including bailing out leakage water by suitable measures, repair to CI pipe of following sizes by burning & including lead, spun yarn etc as occuring at Site including cutting, threading for addition & alternation and for insertion of fittings all as required of following sizes:- Note:- (i) Rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of necessary excavation/ filling, making good the existing surfaces with the necessary T&P as required all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Supply of water through tanker/bouser for domestic use including transportation from source to U/G sump Darjipura Afs Baroda. The water should have the following main factors :- (a)Water should be clear and from all suspended matters both Hyganic & inorganic matter. (b) Water should be free from taste and odour. (c) Water should be colour less and no vegetable stain should be present. (d) Water should be soft that it should not contain dissolved impurities like calcium or magnesium bicarbonate and Sulphates. (e) Water should be soft and should be free from all pathogenic organism causing diseases. (f) Copy of gate entry at guard room with vehicle No date and time shall be submitted duly defaced by Engr in charge before claiming payment. Note : Water analysis duly tested by authorised lab will be rendered by supplier before supplying the water.
