REPAIR/ MAINT OF DG SETS, AMF PANELS AND CONNECTED ITEMS UNDER GE CLEMENT TOWN

Comperehensive maintenance consisting of normal repairs with periodical routine maintenance and testing of DG set complete as per manufaturere's instruction through authorised workshop/agencyas approved by GE for the following DG sets for item Nos 1.10 to 1.70. Maintenance will be carried out as under:- (i) Examine suction and exhaust valves for smooth operation. (ii) Examine and clean fuel injection nozzles. (iii) Check clearance of suction and exhaust valves and adjust if required. (iv) Changing of oil filters, fuel filters, screen filters assy. (v) Changing of DCA water filter. (vi) Labour charges for Coolant top up. (vii) Change of Hydraulic governor oil. (viii) Change of anerold oil. (ix) Clean alternator winding in position by pressurised air and internal surfaces lubrication of DE & NDE bearings. (x) Tightening of all nut bolts. (xi) Greasing of all points. (xii) Test IR value of alternator winding and recording the readings. (xiii) Checking of any leaking in fuel & oil lines. (xiv) Cleaning of any fuel tank by removing any dirt / foregin particles. Note 1 : DHPP (N) required at the time of mainteance/testing will be issued by MES. Note 2 : Labour charges for dismantling/taking down and replacement/fixing new parts as and when required is deemed to be included the rate quoted by the contractor. Note 3 : Spare parts like oil filter, fuel filter, Air filter etc. will be measured and paid separately.

Disconnecting, removing and dismantling water radiator assembly of 10 KVA to 35 KVA DG set and descaling the radiator thoroughly completely with radiator cleaner solution/ any other chemical solvent agent as approved by GE, stopping of leakage at place to copper cores and tubes by brazing scrapping the existing oil paint, dusting and painting the radiator with enameled paint etc., re-installing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting the existing battery of capacity 12V, 180 AH from the DG set, taking it to battery workshop, draining out the complete unserviceable electrolyte acid from the battery, filling up with new Electrolyte acid to the required level, charging the battery, testing the battery for correct specific gravity, bringing back to the location, connecting to DG set, start the engine for satisfactory function complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting the engine from alternator of DG set 10 KVA to 35 KVA after disconnecting all electrical connections, disassembling the alternator to carry out the cleaning of winding with emery paper of armature and filled coils, including transportation of alternator to workshop and bringing back to site for re-assembling after repairs, re-installation at site and reconnecting alternator with engine including testing on load complete all as specified and as directed including repairing of following worn out spare parts : - (i) Carbon bushing and brush holder (set of 08) - 01 Set. (ii) Suitable size and capacity of bearing - 01 No.
