Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc 0.50 Cum getting out returning filling in ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not exc 25cm watering and removing surplus soil to a distance of not exc 50M and making good surfaces in Hard / Dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:4:8 type D2 type (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section including taking out embeded portion and making good distrubed ground and taking debris outside of ND (V) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out the existing chain link fencing of any mesh size and type including line wires complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F mild steel work as in Hand rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F chain link fencing made out of 4.0 mm dia galvanised iron, wire of mesh size 100 mm x 100 mm, made into mattress or cages, straining and fixing to RCC post including provn of 10 mm dia MS round bars as line wire welded to fencing post (MS rounded bars shall be measured and paid separately under resptective items in this Schedule).

M&L for mild steel round bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required including binding with and incl mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90mm dia as in line wires for fixing chain link fencing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of new or previously untreated steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed. including removal of debries outside of Dockyard premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Pre cast cement concrete type 1:3:6 type C-1, (20mm graded stone aggregate) block masonry with solid blocks exc 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 on brick/concrete wall surfaces of any description, and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall and apply three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.
