Bio Composter Bin with the following specification and size- ThreePPCP(PolypropyleneCo-polymer)Binsof2.5-3mmgauge,32 cmheight,35cmupperdia,and27cmbottomdia,22ltrCapacity with 1- 2 mm dia holes provided all round for ventilation. ●Thebinscontain3PPCPlidsof3mmgauge,40cmdiadulyhaving centreholeof22cmdia,fitforholdingtheupperoneandcovering the bottom bin. ●Theuppermostcoveringlidshouldcontainaremovablehotair ventilationmouthof2cmheight,30.5cmdiameterfittedat31cm diameter centre hole with a fully ventilated hot air cap with handle. ●PPCP tray of 2.5 cm height and 27cm dia provided at the bottom most portion for leachate collection. ●One block of microbes enriched Inoculum as a starter kit for water absorption. ●Infrastructure Requirement- Three PPCP bins of 22 ltr. Capacity. ●Three lids for holding the upper bin duly meant for covering the bottom bin. ●One top most lid has a hot air ventilation mouth for ensuring the air circulation. ●A leachate collection tray at the bottom of most portions. ●One block of microbes enriched Inoculum as a starter kit for water absorption. O & M Protocols - ●Place the three bins over the lid and arrange them into one over another, the top most bin is covered with the lid having a hot air ventilation cap. ●Leachatecollectiontrayisplacedattheverybottom,itisoptionalto put a little salt in the tray for avoiding mosquito breeding. ●SpreadalittlesoakedInoculumatthebottomofthetopmostbinthen startloadingthebiowasteintothebinasathinlayer.Againputthe Inoculumoverthebiodegradablewaste,coverthetopmostbinwith hotairventilatedlid.Occasionallymixthefreshwastewiththeold wastebyusingawoodenspoon.Afterthiskeepthebinclosedwith the covering lid. ●One bucket will become full in 20 to 25 day time in a family of 5 members. ●Replacethefilledbinwiththeemptyoneandplacetheventilatedlid over it.●Repeat the same procedure for both the bins. ●Bythetimeoffillingtherestingtwobinsthefirstonewillbefully composted. Then empty the first one and start composting again. ●Drytheremovedcompostundertheshade,thenitcanbeusedas manureinthegarden.Thefullycompostedwastecanbeusedasa starter for the next cycle of composting. ●Periodicallydraintheleachatefromtheleachatecollectiontrayand the drained leachate can be used as manure in the garden
