M & L for preparing RCC roof surfaces with wire brush drying and cleaning to remove all foreign materials and washing with water to remove loose particle, applying a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 200gms/sqm by the same membrane manufacture of density at 25° C, 0.87-0.89 kg/ litre and viscosity 70-160 cps and then applying APP modified bituminous water proofing membrane with plain finish of 3 mm thick (not less than 3.5 kg/ sqm ± 5 % per sqm, reinforced, weighing not less than160gms/Sqm) shall be laid using Butane Torch application method, overlap while torching shall be 75mm on length and 100mm width side, all angles & bituminious should sealed with extra care to ensure full bondage all joints and changes should covered with CM 1:3 with water proofing chemicals as per manufacturer's instructions and cured well before laying membrane & finally applying a coat of solar reflective bituminious aluminium paint @ 0.15 Kg/Sqm over the membrane. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
