Repair/replacement of damaged sewage lines, brick manholes, septic tanks, soakage wells in MD/OTM Accn at Yol Cantt under AGE B/R-I of GE (KH) YOL

SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I :- Excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 metres wide and n.exc 1.50 metres deep and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 1 about but exc 1.50 metre but not exc 3 metre in depth, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm thick each layer of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material exc 250m but not exc. 500m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (Salt glazed stone ware, AC or RCC, PVC pipes) any dia and removal of demolished materials from the site and deposited outside cantt complex, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete including removal of debris to a distance exc 1.50 km but n.exc 2 km, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of stones or brick masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches etc., but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars, bore of pipe 150mm, complete all as specified and directed.

PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with beds reducer and rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors bore 150mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Plain cement concrete M-7.5, nominal mix, D-2, using 40mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested, in plain cement concrete M-10, nominal mix, type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, for bore of pipe 150mm. (For width and depth of PCC bed - refer preamble (a) (i) (ii) on page 391 of SSR Pt-II), complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The unit rate include for use of form work.

Fly ash brick work with old size bricks having crushing strength not less than 75 Kg/Sqcm, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), complete all as specified and directed.

Walling random rubble masonry with best quality locally available stone, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded, solidly hearted and built in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand), complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 13 above but except stone.

Plain cement concrete M-15, nominal mix, B-1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.50 metre clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The unit rate include for use of form work (straight or curved). (ii) Reinforcement if any shall be measured and paid separately.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, ceiling, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc complete including removal of debris to a distance exc 1.50 km but n.exc 2 km, complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering cement plaster 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) on fair faces of brick/stone wall or concrete surfaces, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced concrete on roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas, cover slab and similar suspended work, complete all as specified and directed.

Providing precast reinforced cement concrete M-15, type B-1 (using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate) but in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces, set in cement mortar (1:4) (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The unit rate include for use of form work (straight or curved). (ii) Reinforcement if any shall be measured and paid separately.

TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed.

PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors or trenches of bore 110mm, including taking out old pipe, complete all as specified and directed.

PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed to wall with adjustable MS clamps and screws of bore 110mm, including taking out old pipe, complete all as specified and directed.

PVC (SWR) bends any radius, 110mm bore (fitted with oval access door), complete all as specified and directed.

PVC (SWR) reducer 110mm, complete all as specified and directed.

PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed to wall with adjustable MS clamps and screws of bore 75mm, including taking out old pipe, complete all as specified and directed.

PVC (SWR) bends any radius, 75mm bore (fitted with oval access door), complete all as specified and directed.

Salt-glazed stoneware gully traps, round mouthed, type 'P ', of size 150mmx 100mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, any dia, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round 3/4 channel) in cement concrete M-15 type B-1 smooth, finished and reforming benching as required, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Dewatering of blocked sewar line any description by manual or with sewage pump after pluging of incoming sewage line and throwing water into non residential area/Nallah, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Cleaning of manholes of any capacity or description or depth including pumping out fluid removing all spoil, silt, sludge and other deposits from manholes and making the manhole channel free from all obstacles including taking off and refixing in position of manhole covers after cleaning of manhole cutting the vegetable growth/shurbs/hurbs etc around manholes and removing all spoil, silt, sludge grass and other deposits etc to garbage dumping yard as specified by station authorities in covered van/trolly, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Cleaning of existing sewage line of any dia and any depth by roding or by other means from adjascent manhole without breaking existing pipes including washing the pipe line with water after roding to make the line smooth functional/perfect flow without any obstruction by removing all blockages in the line and removing all spoil, silt sludge and other deposits from pipe line and making the line free from all obstacles, cutting vegetable growth over/shurbs/hurbs etc along and over sewage line and removing all spoil, silt, sludge grass and other deposits etc to garbage dumping yard as specified by station authorities in covered van/trolly, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Cleaning/desilting of the drains by removing foreign materials/ silt/ greasy materials/ earth from the drains, bed/ bottom width of drain exc. 30cm, removing the excavated material from site to a distance n exc. 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
