CIVIL WORK,32687-03-PS-002,SW-2 Demolishing cement concrete of any grade manually/ by mechanical means from all heights and depths including disposal of material within 100 metres lead as per direction of Engineer in - charge.

CIVIL WORK,32687-03-PS-002,SW-3 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches in all kinds of soil, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lifts up to 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil up to a lead of 100m, as directed by the Engineer in. The rates shall include bailing out water, and keeping the sides from collapsing using necessary timbering, planking, and shoring.

Fabrication and erection of trunnion supports, installation of special items like bellows, strainers, traps, etc. are also included in this rate. Hydraulic/pneumatic testing of the piping systems, flushing,draining and drying up shall also be included in the quoted rate. Excluded from this item shall be installation of pipe supports other than trunnions, installation of hangers, making of flanged connections,installation ofvalves, control valves etc., and any other item specifically exempted and paid for under separate bid items. The contractor shall make the most economical use of straight pipe length in the fabrication and field erection of straight piping runs and closing lengths. Fabrication and erection of trunnion supports, installation of special items like bellows, strainers, traps, etc. are also included in this rate. Hydraulic/pneumatic testing of the piping systems, flushing, draining and drying up shall also be included in the quoted rate. Excluded from this item shall be installation of pipe supports other than trunnions, installation of hangers, making of flanged connections,installation of valves, control valves etc., and any other item specifically exempted and paid for under separate bid items.The contractor shall make the most economical use of straight pipe length in the fabrication and field erection of straight piping runs and closing lengths. The pay quantityshall be the actua lcentre line length in meters, of straight or fabricated pipe excluding pipe supports,valves,control valves etc.actuallyinstalled or required . The work under this item covers all operations necessary to complete a flanged joint and shall include transportation from owners storage point, handling, cleaning and preparation of flange faces and gaskets, placing, aligning, installation of gaskets, bolts/studs, final aligment and tightening of pipe flanges, orifice flanges, blind flanges, expansion joint flanges flanged valves and fittings etc. at all elevations. Installation of orifices, spades, blinds are also included in the quoted rate. The rate is applicable for all ratings and materials. PIPING-EREC,32687-03-PS-002,SWB.4.1 "Installation of Underground piping - CS PIPE, IS 3589 Gr.410 ERW,500 NB, SCH 20, as per the attached TPS 32687-03-PS-002. The scope of work includes all the activities required for welding and erection of pipelines with fittings and providing wrapping & coating and other means for corrosion protection, if required. The underground pipelines shall be laid in trenches with a clear depth of 1m above the pipeline and it shall be packed with rivers and for a minimum thickness of 150mm at bottom and sides. At road crossings the pipeline shall be laid through humepipe with a minmum cover of 1meter from top of the hume pipe. The pipelines passing through the hume pipes shall be packed well.Supply & Application of Coaltar primer, Coaltar enamel, Inner & Outer wraps and surface preparation prior to the application of the primer and all the works related to thewrapping coating for underground lines shall be carried out as per the Engineering specification 03ES012/16. The rate shall cover all the works required for laying of underground pipes including but not limited to leaktesting, wrapping and coating, holiday testing as per specification and instructions of the Engineer-in-charge. Welding and making of flanged connections are excluded from this rate and they will be paid as per schedule A & B.2"

PIPING-TEST,32687-03-PS-002,SW1C-1 NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING (DP / MP TEST) - DP/MP inspection of 10% socket joints, as per the attached TPS 32687-03-PS-002 / Engineering Specification 25ES205 / 10, shall be conducted as per code, standards, drawings and instructions from site in charge. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all operations necessary to fulfill the work of DP / MP tests, including all tools / tackles, instruments, films, chemicals etc. complete. After testing, if any joint is found defective, the same shall be rectified and re-tested free of cost. The pay quantity shall be linear centimeters of weld measured on the outside circumference of pipe/fitting successfully passed. Penalty shots shall not be counted for payment.

PIPING-TEST,32687-03-PS-002,SW1C-2 NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING(RADIOGRAPHIC / ULTRASONIC TEST) - Radiographic/Ultrasonic inspection of 10% butt joints, as per the attached TPS 32687-03-PS-002 / Engineering Specification 25ES205 / 10, shall be conducted as per code, standards, drawings and instructions from site in charge. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all operations necessary to fulfill the work of radiography (X-ray/Gammaray) test, including all tools / tackles, instruments, films, chemicals etc. complete. After testing, if any joint is found defective, the same shall be rectified and re-tested free of cost. The pay quantity shall be linear centimeters of weld measured on the outside circumference of pipe/fitting successfully passed. Penalty shots shall not be counted for payment.

PIPING-MISC,32687-03-PS-002,SW1D Supply, fabrication and erection of structural supports for pipes, valves & other accessories including trunnions, guide, anchor etc. as per drawings and instructions of Engineer in charge. Transportation of material, cutting, edge preparation, drilling, threading, welding and fixing of structural supports at all elevations are included in the scope of work. Transportation of the finished items to their respective positions, erection, alignment, welding/bolting and grouting the base plate etc. are also included in this item. Supply of structurals, cement, sand and all consumables required for completing the job shall be in the scope of the contractor. Painting of the item including supply of paint and primer as per the specification is also included in the scope.
