Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces, exc 50mm and n exc 100mm deep and in area not exc 400 Sqm and disposal to distance n exc. 50 m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber (compacted spread thickness of soling shall be 150 mm thick) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates (Granite, trap or basalt type of aggregate) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 10 ton power roller incl preparing unsurfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat RS I grade cationic emulsion @ 7.5Kg/10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads,etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with RS I grade cationic emulsion @ 2.5 kg per 10 sq m using mechanical sprayer, putting in SDAC as specified vide Item No 5 here under ( 2.5 cm thick) well rammed bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) in depth of potholes n exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying RS I grade cationic emulsion @ 2.5 Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Bituminous Premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix providing and laying with mechanical paver and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and applying 2.0 mm thick retro reflective thermoplastic road marking strips with glass beads 300 gms/Sqm of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully /semi automatic thermoplastic material applicator machine filled with profile shoe, glass beads dispensers, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals , oil , grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
