SH-I: DSITC of Sign and Documentation

Design, Fabrication, Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of FAA Complied or FAA Certified with model variant for ICAO application for CAT-III all weather 4E airport, continuous (24x7 hours ) operation, edgelit LED based internally illuminated airfield Mandatory and Information Sign on runway with wind load withstand capability 260 kts of various sizes as per the requirement with testing and acceptance as detailed in the Technical Specification including all hardwares and materials like breakable couplings, base plates, fastners, UV stabilized reinforced PVC / PE pipe of required length, cable termination with tinned copper lugs, 1X 4 sq.mm tinned copper conductor insulated eath wire, fittings, fixing, connections etc. complete as required as per direction of the Engineer-In Charge. The LED drivers to be used for all the signboards shall be of same rating i.e it should be interchangable without any modifications.

Design, drawing and documentation like Layout and graphics Drawing of existing airfield ground signs of the whole NSCBI Airport in autocad, making interim drawing showing addition, modification as per DGCA CAR side by side the existing drawing and get it verified by AAI and then making final drawing for approval by AAI and submit soft copies ( .pdf and .dwg ), 3 copies of hard copies ( A0 / A1 size as found suitable) including lamination of one additional piece and fixing at CCR Hall, all documentation for DGCA approval, 3 set books of Project handing over documents like test certificates, test reports, OEM manual, inventory, trouble shooting, spare lists and escalation matrix, warranty and guarantee etc. and 02 soft copies in External SSD etc. as per the direction of the engineer - in -charge.

Carrying out of successful photometric test of all the installed signboards at site generating report then and there and get it signed by AAI and submitting the documents for DGCA CAR/ ICAO compliance and carrying out the test again as demanded by DGCA during commissioing level approval.

Providing logistics for AAI use only i.e. one no. vehicle (Bolero/Scorpio /Sumo with AC not more than 02 years old) along with driver (semiskilled), POL for monthly run upto 1800 KM i.e. all expenses paid for 10 hours a day any time as per site work requirement and one work assistant (payable daily wage of Rs. 1500/-) BE / B Tech or Diploma with 04 years GLF experience and computer ( MS Office and preferably autocad) knowledge and one computer with color printer, associated accessories and consumables for 06 days a week including PF, ESIC/medical insurance of deployed staffs etc. complete as required.

SH-II: Associated Electrical Works

Design, Fabrication by laser cutting at factory & supply of MS isolating transformer housing box of size 750(L)X350(W)X450 (D) of size as per site requirement or as directed by Engineer-In-charge out of 6 mm thick MS sheet and counter sunk top cover 10 mm thick MS sheet, earth studs both for fittings and GI wires and ASD / TRF hanging arrnagement, cutting of holes etc. All inserts should be suitable for M-10 size bolt i/c supply of M 10 SS Bolt including painting of box with one coat of primer & two coats of black enamel paint and installation during concrete work / existing trench in soil / gravel along with water drainage arrangement at bottom by providing 50 mm dia HDPE pipe during concrete work, painting, lettering, numbering etc. complete as required.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) including shuttering, sloping, surface finisfhing for Isolating transformer housing boxes / chambers as per DGCA requirement etc. complete as required as per the site condition and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Excavation of hard rock or bitumenous / cement concrete of runways/taxiways/ apron/RESA/ Road etc. by power saw cutting without disturbing the other area, including getting out the excavated material, cleaning the cut area and disposal of excavated debris as directed within a lead of 5 KM including all machineries like power saw, hammer drill / pneumatic drill, water browser, mobile DG set, transportation etc. complete as required.

Excavation of soft soil including back filling as required and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply of FAA certified 5000 V , 50 HZ series Isolating Transformer 100 watt, 6.6 A/6.6 A for AGL application etc. complete as required.

Supply of FAA certified Secondary connector kit suitable for connection 2X 4 sq mm multi stranded annealed conductor, unshilded secondary airfield lighting cables etc. complete as required.

Making end termination of 2X 4 sq mm multi stranded copper conductor secondary airfield lighting cables with secondary connector kit (plug and receptacle) etc complete as required.

Supply of 6 sq. mm. FAA certified 5 KV grade dry type plug and receptacle of type I, class 'B' primary connector kit with field attachment and suitable for shielded airfield cable with earthing glands, nuts and bolts and 1X4 sq. mm insulated tinned copper earth wire for ALCMS / ILCMS etc. complete as required.

Making connection of 5 KV Grade, 6 Sq mm Copper conductor cable with plug & receptable i/c copper earth continuity wire. complete as required as per installation manual of the OEM.

Supply of FAA certified 2C x 4 sq.mm. 600V grade flexible annealed tinned copper conductor secondary cable for Airport lighting circuits etc. complete as required.

Dismantling the existing signage board by disconnecting from the elctrical circuit, removal of nut bolts from the legs, carrying and stacking the dismantled material in AAI store but keeping undisturbed the 5kV primary power cable circuitry as per the instruction of engineer in-charge.

Making cable trenches by excavation of RCC/PCC/Brick work, sand cushioning at bottom, thereafter 80mm brick work at bottom,15mm thick cement plaster of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) on two side walls and over the brick work at bottom, providing and fixing of 3mm thick 75mm X 75mm MS angle frame along the top edge of the trench including getting out the excavated material and disposal of the same within a lead of 5 KM as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. The final useful dimension of the trench shall be 650mm (Depth) X 650 mm (width).

Providing and fixing 5mm thick MS chequered plate (length not more than 1.2m) with two MS lifting handles as cover of existing cable trench including cutting, welding, fitting, smoothening sharp edges, corners etc. complete as required as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply and fixing 3mm thick 1000mm wide antistatic insulated synthetic mat on MS chequered plate conforming to IS 15652 with up to date ammendments suitable for safe operation of 11kV installations along with adhesive resin, sealing material including cutting, fixing, wastage, ensuring good pasting specially the edges and corners, disposal of wastage at desired location etc. complete as required as directed by E-I-C.

SH-III: Operation and Maintenance Part

Supply of spare LED drivers for signboards as mentioned in BOQ item no. 1 ( to be supplied and used after DLP period)

Supply of spare LED strips as used in the signboards as mentioned in BOQ item no. 1 (to be supplied and used after DLP period)

Carrying out of yearly successful photometric test of all the airfield mandatory, information signboards ( existing and any future addition as well) at site, generating report then and there, get it signed by AAI and submitting the documents for DGCA CAR/ ICAO compliance and carrying out the test again as demanded by DGCA during their inspection. ( To be carried out in the 11th-12th month of every year starting from the date of the last test)

Job contract for Operation and maintenance of all exisitng and any future additional airfield mandatory and information signs in Kolkata Airport by deploying following logistics i.e. staffs , tools, vehicles etc. in two shifts ( 08 hour in one shift) in a day on all days throughout the year including Sundays, holidays for preventive maintenance, unlimited breakdown repair to ensure 100% serviceability and satisfactory working condition as per DGCA CAR / ICAO, maintaining all required records and documentation, excluding spares but including sundry materials like nuts, bolts, washers, cleaning agents, HT tapes, PVC tapes, coootn wastes, cotton cloth, petrolium gelly etc. as per special condition of contract and the instruction of Engineer-in-charge. The contractor shall deploy one vehicle (Sumo/Bolero not more than 02 years old) with all expenses paid, one skilled technician, one semi-skilled driver cum assistant, one unskilled helper for each shift. That is total in a day : a) Skilled manpower (technician) -02 nos b) Semi-skilled manpower (driver cum assistant) -02 nos. c) Unskilled helper - 02 nos. Reliever = 01 skilled person ( for skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled) First year (during DLP)

Replacement of airfield sign graphics, legends in existing board by removal of existing vinyl sheets and supply, pasting minimum 03 layers self-adhesive translucent vinyl sheet including cutting, fixing, connection, disconnection, nuts, bolts etc. complete as required as directed by Engineer-in-Charge on as and when required basis.

Supply of breakable coupling suitable for signboards as mentioned vide BOQ item no. 1 on as and when required basis.

Supply of supporting leg suitable for signboards as mentioned vide BOQ item no. 1 on as and when required basis.

Supply of base plate suitable for signboards as mentioned vide BOQ item no. 1 on as and when required basis.
