BUILDING WORKS

Removal of existing roof treatment i.e APP membrane, brick tiling incl mud mortar and open up RCC roof slab including picking, sweeping cleaning with wire brush and washing down with water to remove dust, dirt to get surface free of laitance, scales, oil or any other loose material including removal and disposing off the rubbsih outside the defence land complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof for double storey.The contractor shall make arrangement of scoffolding, safety & security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof. The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items .

M & L PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggreagte) mixed with integral liquid water proofing compound (as per manufacture direction and same shall be measured and paid seperately) and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement as in roof padding and sunken floor treatement to receive water proofing treatment complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof for double storey. The contractor shall make arrangement of scaffolding, safety and security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof. The rates quoted shall be deemed to be included for these items.

M & L of water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer’s instructions with following course of description below :- (a) Applying a priming coat of bituminious primer @ 0.30 Kg /Sqm, till the surface is properly impregnated. (b) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3 .6Kg/ Sqm and minimum 3 mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) centre core, laid on primed surface by forced applications as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75 mm and end overlap of 100 mm. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch ) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer (c) Apply two coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm for each coat over APP membrance

Note : 1. The work of water proofing treatment shall be got executed through authorised applicator of the manufacturer only and 10 year company back warranty to be submitted by contractor 2. The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof slab for double storeyed. The contractor shall make arrangement of scaffolding, safety and security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof . The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items.)

Demolition of lime concrete in floors and paving exe 15 cm thick above ground floor (sunken floor) including picking, sweeping cleaning with wire brush and washing down with water to remove dust, dirt to get surface free of laitance , scales, oil or any othet loose material and removing the demolished material outside the MOD land.Complete all as specified and directed

M & L for PCC 1:1.5:3 type A-0 (Using 12.5mm stone aggregate) as in concrete angle-fillets of required size shall be provided at junctions between roofs, floor and vertical faces of walls (parapet, pillar for water tank staging and sunken floor) around obstacles such as pipes, chimney stacks, etc. and other similar situation to ease up about corners mixed with SBR latex liquid polymer (as per manufacture direction) complete all as specified and directed. M & L for Providing and application two coat of acrylic polymer modified cementitious flexible waterproof coating on horizontal and vertical surface for sunken floor as per manufacturer direction after base preparation of cleaning, brushing and removal of flaky materials. The coatings shall be applied at intervals and as per the manufacturer’s specifications and approved by Engineer in Charge . Note : Ponding test after water proofing coating willl be done for ponding for 48 Hrs .

M & L for 15 mm thick protection plaster CM 1:4 floor and wall with polymer modified repair mortar (SBR Latex liquid polymer as per manufactur direction ).Complete all as specified and directed Note :- (SBR) Latex liquid polymer will be measured and paid seperately.

Taking down old unserviceable service / UG cable of any size from building complete all as specified and directed

Taking down sub main wire of any size from inside conduit and cassing capping / batten wiring complete all as specified and directed

Taking down defective distribution board including MCBs and wooden boards all as specified and S & F distribution board factory made SPN 8 way, 240 volts, 50 Hz with 200 amps rated bus bar, double door metal type suitable for fixing MCBs including making good the surfaces to match with the exisitng all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches for taking out/laying of cable and pipe line not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide in soft / loose soil. complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in each layer in any type of soil.complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for fine dry sand cushioning for underground cable by providing layers of sand 8 cm before laying and 15 cm deep after laying the cable including streching the cable (measurement to be taken after punning down consolidated thickness). complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, Type-I, flat size 250 mm x 150 mm x 40 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for road cutting and making good with PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) of minimum size 150 mm X 100 mm in respect of width and thickness complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying & joined Galvanised Tubing 50 mm bore, light grade as in sleeving etc laid in trenches/pole post/under culvert/under road etc for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Note : Tenderers may note that amount of credit Rs 4,13,620.60 will be deducted from the total amount arrived, at the time of Acceptance of contract.
