Excavation of earth upto 1.5 mt. depth below G.L. for laying of Sewer, Man-Holes, Gully Pits, Chambers, Sumps etc. in ordinary soil (earth, sand, loam and clay) including extra excavation below inverts trimming & dressing of sides, levelling and back filling of trenches by excavated earth ,watering and ramming the same including removal of surplus earth or other dismantled material up to a distance of 50 meters from the center of trenches and cleaning of site properly after complition of the work.(Excavation in soil mixed with moorum, shingle, Kankar.)

Provide & fixing of Open Timbering (covering1/3rd of surface area by planks), in trenches for the following depths below ground level consisting of 40mm thick approved country wood planks for poling board, 125mm × 75mm Indian Salwood walers and 100 mm dia Sal wood ballies for struts at 1.50m interval including removal after laying of sewer(both sides of trenches will be taken as one side for the purpose of payments & measurements i.e. area equals to length x depth of trenches. Dismantled timbering materials will be the property of the contractor.

Depth upto 3 m below G.L

Provide & fixing of Close Timbering in trenches for the following depths below ground level consisting of 40mm thick approved country wood planks for poling board, 125mm × 75mm Indian Salwood walers and 100 mm dia Sal wood ballies for struts at 1.50m interval including removal after laying of sewer(both sides of trenches will be taken as one side for the purpose of payments & measurements i.e. area equals to length x depth of trenches. Dismantled timbering materials will be the property of the contractor.

3 m to 6 m below G.L

Supply & Laying - Jointing of following dia. R.C.C. S&S pipes with rubber gaskets to the site of work, lowering the same into trenches below ground level true to alignment, making the joints with rubber gaskets and with necessary spun yarn soaked in bitumen jointing with 1:2 cement mortar in coarse sand including cost of all jointing materials and testing etc. complete but excluding excavation and backfilling of trenches upto ground level. (Taking 150mm dia RCC pipe for connecting property to the manhole through SCC, assuming three household to be connected with one SCC, total no of HH are 305, average length of pipe is being taken as 5.0 m for one SCC)

Constructing Brick Masonry Manhole of various dia and depth as per IS :4111 par1( latest amendment) in FPS brick class designation M-100 in Cement Mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) including inside and outside 15mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:3(1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement inside only. The work includes excavation, dewatering, planking, strutting etc. refilling, disposal of surplus earth with all lift and lead of 50m, Including construction of concrete base with PCC 1:4:8 (1 cement : 1 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 40mm nominal size), preparation of channel up to the height of'the'pipe and benching in PCC 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) including neat cement finished, suitable connection of inlet & outlet pipes, testing (water tightness} of manhole, curing etc. complete as per specification and drawing and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge (the depth of manhole will be measured from the invert of the pipe to top of the manhole cover).

Cutting road surface for sewer line trenches. Including stacking of serviceable material (i.e. stone ballast that will be reused in the laying of WBM) at site and disposal of unserviceable material to suitable disposal point beyond municipal limit as directed by Engineer in charge

Road Reinstatement work Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-25 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering,shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Note :- Cement content considered in this item is @ 330 kg/cum. Excess/ less cement used as per design mix is payable/recoverable separately).

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

Providing and spreading RBM i.e., River Bed Material (treated as granular sub-base /base/surface course material) in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface with rotator and compacting with smooth wheeled roller to achieve the desired density.

Disposal of surplus earth from the site of work upto a distance of 8.0 km. As directed by Engineer incharge including loading unloading and carting etc. all complete.

Construction and laying, jointing and fixing of domestic house sewer Connection in 110 mm dia PVC pipe including excavation of earth,filling,cutting of pipe, fixing Joints including supply of all materials, labour T&P etc. removal of surplus earth or other dismantled material up to a distance of 50 meters from the centre of trenches and cleaning of site properly after completion of the work.

R.R.Stone masonry in cement mortar for substructure complete as per drawing & technical specification Clauses 702, 704, 1202 and 1204. In cement mortar (1:5) Including Supply of all material, Labour, T&P etc. with proper completion of work.
