Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth up to 300 mm (three hundred millimetre), removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto any lead including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm (one hundred fifty millimetre) in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201.1 by mechanical means including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of reference pillar as per fig. 1600.1 (b) and (Burgee) as per drawing and technical specification clause 1602.1 including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rate including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Construction of back pillar as per fig. 1600.1 (c) and drawing and technical specification clause 1602.3 including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rate including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Construction of job pillar as per drawing and technical specification clause 1602.4 including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Excavation in soil in hilly areas in all heights and depths, in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of pick, jumper, blasting work (both in soft and hard rock), chiseling / wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil including, dewatering wherever required, setting out to the required lines, grades, side slopes and levels as shown on the drawings or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to technical specifications clause 1603.1 & 1603.2, sorting out useful / unuseful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lift and transportation of useful materials for filling in road ways, embankments, for grades improvements and levelling to the required grade and then disposing of surplus excavated earth in acquired width of roads or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load, animal load or mechanical means along with its levelling fine dressing and including all labour, machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by all means ( if required). Recovery of useful stone of 3823.77 cum. @ 300/- per cum. amounting to Rs. 1147131/- only shall be done on prorata basis for the quantity of cutting in earth work effected. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all leads and lifts of materials or as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads January 2014 clause 305 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side, rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super elevation and levels as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met within the excavation due to stream flow, seepage, rain and other causes, it shall be removed by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated nominal mix 1:6:12 (one cement: six sand: twelve graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Coursed rubble stone masonary (second sort) in cement mortar 1:4 (one cement : four sand) for sub-structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 702, 704, 1202 & 1206 including curing and carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Coursed rubble stone masonary (second sort) in cement mortar 1:5 (one cement : five sand) for sub-structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 702, 704, 1202 & 1206 including curing and carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete 900mm diameter (Nine hundred millimeter) pipe NP3 as per design for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement : two sand) but excluding excavations, protection works, back filling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets as per drawings and technical specifications for Rural roads clause 1101 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying flooring with rubble stone laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement: three sand) laid over cement concrete bedding (cement concrete bedding to be measured and paid for seperately) curing complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1303 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying filter media with granular crushed aggregates as per specification to a thickness of not less than 600 mm (six hundred millimetre) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height, compacted to firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1206.3 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Back filling with granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specifications 1206.3 and 1604.7 complete including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of parapets with mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete 1:5:10 (one cement : five sand : ten graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) and curing complete including cost of earth work in all kinds of soil and cost of from work with steel plates complete as per drawing and HPPWD technical specification including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross sectional area 0.40 Sqm (zero point four zero square metre) in all kind of soil by all means to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment within any lift and lead as per HPPWD Technical Specification Clause 307 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS plates of 1.6mm (one point six millimeter) thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5mm (twenty five millimeters into five millimeter) size on back on edges.The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm (twenty five millimeters into twenty five millimetres into five millimeters). The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 (two) Nos. 75mm x 75mm (seventy five millimeters into seventy five millimetres) of 12 (twelve) SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 (fifteen) grade blocks of 450mm x 450 mm x 600mm (four hundred fifty millimetres into four hundred fifty millimeters into six hundred millimeters) 600 mm (six hundred millimetre) below ground level.The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm (forty seven millimetre into forty seven millimetre) of 12 (twelve) SWG steel plate tube. All M.S will be stove enamelled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etcetera will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing 200 meter stone (pre-cast) with reinforced cement concrete M:15 (fifteen) grade of standard design as per IRC : 26 fixing in position including painting and printing etcetra as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1703 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
