Conducting 7 days- 24 hours (24 x 7) traffic survey using mobile automatic traffic count and classifier (ATCC) in both up & down direction for determination of ‘PCU’, ‘CVPD’ and other relevant traffic parameters required for pavement design as per relevant IRC codes at any suitable location over the road.

Conducting Axle load survey for determination of ‘VDF’ as per relevant IRC code at any suitable location over the road.

Conducting Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) test for overlay design of pavement as per required frequency on the entire stretch of the road conforming to IRC guidelines.

Assessment of existing pavement layers of the road by making pits of suitable dimension @ 2 Nos/ KM (zigzag way) with making still and video photographs of the same.

Making still and video photographs of the road showing the present condition of the road, specially the distressed zones and submission of the same in 3(three) sets, preferably in Pen drives.

Conducting condition survey of all existing cross drainage structures and making technical proposal, methodology, drawings for their replacement / rehabilitation work with still and video photographs.

Conducting reconnaissance survey for (i) Road side trees, electric poles. PHE pipe lines, OFC cables or any other structure, required to be shifted for execution of the project. (ii) Road stretches where the protection work is required and making technical proposal regarding the same along with chainage wise locations and photographs.

Carrying out pavement design as per relevant IRC codes using latest design software and submission of design report, both in soft copy and hard copies.

Preparation of detailed estimate of road works, CD works, road safety works, protection works, drain work etc., along with rate analysis of different items of work as per latest PWD Schedule of rates, Govt. of West Bengal.

Submission of complete DPR along with Prefacing reports, index maps, technical note, traffic data, reconnaissance survey reports, design calculations, drawings, estimates and BOQ of the proposed work in 6( six) copies, along with preparation of Power point presentation of the proposed work and providing necessary assistance in uploading the same in ‘UPMS’ portal.
