HIRING OF ONE CIVIL HIRED TRANSPORT (CHT) (SWIFT DZIRE/HYUNDAI XCENT/TOYOTA ETIOS/HONDA AMAZE) AT GE (I) (P) (AF) TEZPUR

Providing services for one hired commercial Car Sedan type (Swift Dzire/Hyundai Xcent/Toyota Etios/Honda Amaze) of model equipped with BS IV/VI Engine within area of responsibility of GE(I)(P)(AF) Tezpur and in adjoining state of Meghalaya upto Shillong including well trained driver possessing valid driving licence. Cost of fuel required everyday, lubricants, coolant, brakefluid, distill water for battery, brake oil, refrigerant for air conditioning system including time washing, comprehensive repairs, servicing and maintenance shall deemed to be included in unit cost of item. (a) One vehicle as mentioned above with driver for performing 8 hrs duty per day (09:00 Hrs to 17:00 Hrs) upto 60 Km run per working day as and when required including essential duty on holidays/Sundays due to operational reasons/VIP visits etc complete all as specified and directed. The working hours during VIP visits will be at the discretion of GE and no additional charges will be paid on this account. (i) In case, run of vehicle is less than 60 km in a particular day or in several days, Such "lesser runs" shall be added for each successive day for the limit of purpose of commutation. However overall run per month shall not exceed 1350 km in a month. Any km run over and above 1350 km limit in a particular month shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of Sch herein after. (ii) In case if Veh run is less than 1350 km in a particular month, the minus price adjustment on account of fuel consumption @ Rs. 6.0/Km shall be made.

Extra charges for Km run of vehicle with driver catered vide item (1) herein before during a particular month beyond 1350 Km in a month but less than 1500 Km including duty within station Note: This mileage shall only be considered for payment purpose only.

Extra charges for Km run of vehicle with driver catered vide item (1) herein before beyond 60 Km/day for outstation Govt Bonafide duty from Tezpur to anywhere within Assam and Meghalaya. Note: (i) This mileage shall only be considered for payment purpose only. (ii) Extra charges for night stay of driver cater in 3 working days halt aprt from journey time at any outstation shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates. Note:- for item 1 to 3 above (a) Quoted unit rate of each item will be inclusive of all charges/taxes/levies such as road tax, insurance charges, pollution checking charges etc. These rates also include cost of fuel, lubricant, salary of driver, periodical servicing, periodica replacement of engine oil, gear oil, colant, brake oil etc daily checking of coolant level, brake fluid level, engne oil level, distill water in battery, daily cleaning/polishing of vehicle, daily cleaning of dust and dirt from interior of vehicle. Quoted rates will also include any kind of fine imposed by state transport authority on account of breach of any rules/act as per Govt regulations. (b) Any minor/major repair required in vehicle will be carried out by the contractor at no extra cost to Govt. and cost of the same shall deemed to be included in unit cost of item 1.01. 1.02 & 1.03 above. However, in case, repairs involve more than 2 Hrs time, it will be sole responsbility to provide another vehicle with driver in duration of 02 Hrs in order to ensure smooth functioning of the office. Penal charges beyond two hours time at the rate of Rs. 100/- per hour shall be imposed in case of delay in providing alternative vehicle beyond two hour time. (c) The driver with vehicle will report to office of MTO/AGE (E/M) at sharp 08:30 AM on all working days with car diary as per sample given in particular specifications. counting of mileage and time i.e Hours of duty will start from and to duty point i.e. from AGE (E/M) yard/office inside Air Force Station tezpur wef 09:00 Hrs on commencement of duty and after up to 17:00 Hrs up to completion of duty. The driver will obtain signature of officer using the vehicle and mileage run by vehicle in car diary shall be completed by JE (E/M) in charge of MT section on daily basis next day after verifying it from odometer fitted in the car. (d) In no case driver will consume Alcohol, Tobacco, Betel leaf or any kind of drugs during duty hours. In case of violation, the contrator will be sole responsible and he will remove him without notice immediately and shall be penalised at rate of Rs. 500/- per day. The contractor before employing the driver, shall verify his antecedants from police/public authority and shall submit his police verification certificate before commencement of contract.
