REPAIR/MAINTENANCE TO SECURITY LIGHTS, STREET LIGHTS, HIGH MAST LIGHT FITTINGS AND PERIMETER LIGHTS IN DOMESTIC AND TECH AREA AT BRD AF STATION UNDER GE (AF) MC CHANDIGARH

Checking and maintenance of street light, perimeter light and high mast light including accessories, Sloar/ LED lights fitting on wall or pole or ceiling of hanger and of any other locations to find out deffects including dismantling of defective parts or taking down the fitting if necessary, cleaning the bowl/ perflex cover and making the fitting in 100% serviceable condition including rectification of fault of over head lines and under ground cables if any complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: (i) The Contractor shall deploy minimum 01 Elect and 01 Helper except sunday & holidays for the purpose from 0900 hrs to 1700 Hrs daily. (ii) All T&P/Safety items shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. (iii) The Contractor shall rectify the compliant within 24 Hours otherwise penal charge will be imposed at the rate of Rs. 200/per complaint/per hour (iv) Contractors are quotes rates to include arrangement of bucket crane of high height or any other means required to rectify the compliants at the height of 11/24 metre or above. Safety of the tradesmen employed shall be the responisibility of the contractor. (v) Defective parts such as LED driver/Li-ion battery/MPPT solar charger with motion senser will be measured and paid under item 2 to 5 separately. However cost of replacement of minor parts such as nut, bolt, washer etc shall be inclusive in quoted rates.

M&L for repair of gear assembly double drum winch type with pully and stainless steel wire rope to operate the symmetrically fiited lamps complete system of high mast light upto 16 mtr height and made it functional upto the entire satisfaction. Note : Cost of spare parts changed deemed to be included in the quoted rate..

Supply laying and testing XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade 3.5 core 50 sqmm cross sectional area including taking out existing unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed . Make:-Havells/Polycab/Paragon Note:- (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for seperatly. (ii) Thimble for cable termination on Junction box/panel as required should be included in this rate .

Supply and fix in replacement GI pipe light grade 80 mm dia for cable protection laid under road/path/culvert or trenches, complete all as specified and directed. Make : JINDAL/ TATA/Swastik/ PRAKASH.

Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 mtr wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for laying of pipe/cable and getting out old unserviceable cable / pipe in any type of soil including cutting of grass and bushes complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed. .

Removal of excavated soil surplus to the requirement to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of dry river sand, 80mm thick before laying of cable and 150mm thick (punned down to 100mm thick) after laying of cables, in trenches/ducts, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Punned down thickness (overall 18cm), shall be considered for measurement and payment.

Supply and laying precast concrete cable cover, class LV type 1, flat of size 250mmx150mmx40mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Relaying only well burnt brick sub class 'B' old size brick laid dry in trenches with width equal to the length of the brick , complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Bricks are to be reused retrived during the cable taking out against respective items.

Supply and fix in replacement LED decorative post top light fitting 40 watt made in cast aluminium spigot housing with decorative opal polycarbonate diffuser and IP 65 protection, resistant to impact and corrosion having glare free and better uniformity light complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix in repairs pole mounting boxes( DB) factory made out of PVC heavy duty duly fixed aluminium bus bar of suitable size x 3 strip and 1 neutral strip suitable for 4 wire system including MCB SPN 6 Amps 240 volts - 01 No and including clamp made out of MS Flat iron 40 x 3 mm thick with nut, bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed. Make- Sintex or ISI marked.

Material and labour for preparation of rusted surface of steel pole with brackets of any size/shape/type at any height and painting with aluminium paint and alternate colour of sky blue 3 strip and white paint 2 strip of 30 cm height at bottom of the pole ( appx 1.5 mtr )and numbering the pole (with 5 cm height ) black paint with back ground yellow paint in 10 cm round dia, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of unserviceable LT Feeder Pillar Box out door type 1.1 KV made out of MS CRCA sheet of size 3.15 mm thick having 4 Nos Aluminium bus bar of size 200 Amps for phase and 100 Amps for neutral fixed on LT 8 Nos insulators of size 0.60Mx0.45M X 0.45M with 04 legs made out of MS angle 50X50X5 mm & 0.75 Mtr in length with locking arrangements, front and back opening, including danger notice board with skull & bone monogram & indicating 1100 volts danger board and including FPB and incoming and out going connections and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement digital programmable astronomical time switch auto operation 220-240 V AC, 50 HZ and contactor of cap 63 Amp TP for security light control complete with wiring all as per site requirement, complete all as specified and directed. Make : Havells/L&T/ABB
