SCH 'A' PART-I (WOODEN FURNITURE)

ALMIRAH MESS UTENCIL (FD-93 (M)) (a) Overall size shall be 1065mm long, 455mm wide and 1670 mm high. (b) All wood shall be of 1st class hard wood (teak wood) free from knots. (c) All pre-laminated particle board both side decorated teak faced exteriar grade should be used. (d) All joints and fixing shall be done accordance with standsrd workmanship/specification. (e) Rest all other items, fittings and fixtures shall be as per shown on drawing.

BIN LINEN MULTIPURPOSE (FD/E6/MAP/09) (a) The overall size o the unit shall be of 1200x450x750 mm. (b) The body, shelves and drawers shall be made of 18 mm thick Pre-laminated MDF board conformin to Grade I Exterior uality & type-II (PLMDF-12 designation) as per IS:14587:1998(Reaffirmed 2003) of Make Ktply/Archidply/Green Panel max of Green Ply/ Duratuff and back shall be of 12mm thick BWR grade plywood conforming to IS-303. PVC edging shall be made of 1.5mm thick. (c) 75mm high skirting at bottom of hte unit shall be made of 19mm thick teakwood, connected by 25x25 mm teak woode stiffeners. (d) Expose surface of teak wood shall be polished in wallnut colour with glossy finish Make of polish shall be Melamyne by asian paints/Nerolac/Berger. (e) Rest all as per drg or as specified.

BOOK CASE SECTIONAL (FD-237) (a) All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 1200mm long, 300mm wide and 760mm high. All wood shall be of first class hard wood teak(MP). (b) Legs shall be 45mmx45mm up to 40mm from top of legs and 25mmx25mm in section at bottom of legs. The legs shall be 100mm high fixed together with 25mmx40mm in section teak wood rails in short and long sides. (c) The top body of Book Case shall project on longer side up to 150mm form the center of side rails and project up to 50mm from center of long rails in short direction. (d) Both sides and vertical partition shall be 19mm thick particle board having teak veneer particle board commercial with 1.5mm thick plastic laminated sheet fixed over it. (e) Shelf in cupboard in the left hand side shall be 380mm wide and 12mm thick teak veneer hsade particle board one side and commerical other. The shelves on the other side of Book Case shall be 19mm thick teak veneer surface on one side and other side commercial and shall be provided as shown on drawing. (f) Ther shutter of 380mm cupboard shall be of 19mm thick teak veneer surface on one side and commercial on other, fixed to side of book case with continuous piano type hinge. One chromium plated knob and one ball spring catch shall be provided to the shutters. (g) The back of Book Case shall have 6mm thick plywood commercial fixed with head less nails. All front edges of particle baord and all around the shutters of cupboard shall have 3mm thick wood edging of width equal to thickness of particle board shall be provided. (h) All wood and teak veneer surfaces and commercial plywood surfaces exposed to view wehn palced in position shall be Melamine polished with high gloss finish.

TABLE DINING 1200 x 900 MM (FD/E6/MAP-II/03) (a) Timber shall be first class hard wood (teak wood) and free from knots. (b) Top of table shall be of 18 mm thick Pre-laminated particle board, melamine faced veneered decorated one side and other balancing exterior grade with 4 mm thick teak wood edgin around to top fixed with screw. (c) All joints/fixing shall be in accordance with standard workmanship and specification. (d) Triangular teak wood stiffener 8 Nos shall be provided to strength thr joint at corner of legs with other members. (e) All wooden exposed surfaces shall be Melamine polished to give glossy finish. (f) PVC hard ring shall be approved quality. (g) Rest all as per shown in drawing.

TEAPOY WOODEN (FD-382) (a) All diamension shall be as shown on drawing. (b) All wood shall be of first class hard wood (teak wood) free from knots. (c) All faces of timber shall be wroughted. (d) Top of teapoy shall be 18/19 mm thick Pre-laminated particle board melamine faced decorated exterior grade with 4mm thick teak wood edging around to top fixed with screw. (e) All joints and fixing shall be done accordance with standsrd workmanship/specification. (f) PVC hard ring shall be provided to each legd of teapoy. (g) All wooden exposed to view surfaces shall be Melamine polished. (h) Rest all items, fittings and fixtures shall be as per shown on drawing.

CHAIR DINING WITH CUSHION (FD/MAP-II/04) (a) All diamension shall be shown on drawing. (b) All wood shall be first class hard wood (teak wood) free from knots. (c) Seat shall be 75 mm thick of foam density 40g/cm3 covered with fabric (range not less than 300.00/Sqm) fitted on ply wood for seat 12 mm thick, BWR. (d) Hard PVC ring best quality shall be provided (e) All exposed surfaces of timber shall be Melamine polished. (f) Rest all as per shown in drawing.

HAT STAND WITH MIRROR (FD-362) (a) Timber: All wood work shall be of first class hard wood kiln seasoned (MP teak Wood). (b) Plywood: 4mm thick teak ply one side teak face and other side commercial face for front and 4mm thick plywood both side commercial face for back shall be provided. (c) Mirror: 5.5mm thick sheet glass of following make ATUL/MODIGAURD/GOLDEN FISH shall be provided. The mirror shall not have wavy image. (d) Pegs: Brass pegs of size 120mm x 75mm (overall) shall be fixed with brass screws as directed by the GE. (e) Polish: All exposed surface of wood work shall be Melamine polished. (f) Painting: Key plate shall be painted with synthetic enamel paint as shown in the drawing. (g) All other details/fittings: shall be as shown on the drawing.

TABLE 900X600 W/O DRAWER (FD-284) (a) Overall size shall be 900mm long, 600mm wide and 760mm high (b) All wood shall be of first class hard woo (teak wood) free from knots. (f) The top shall be of 18 mm Pre-laminated particle board melamine faced veneered decorated one side exterrior grade with 4mm thick teak wood edgin alround the top and fixed with suitable screw. (g) All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be Melamine polished with high gloss finish. (h) Hard rubber/PVC shoe of 25 mm dia shall be provided at bottom of all legs. TABLE DRESSING LADIES INCLUDING STOOL (FD/MAP-II/07) (a) All materials, dimensions, shape and size shall be as shown on drawing. (b) All wood work shall be made out of Seasoned First Class Teak Wood, Category -1. (c) Cupboard : Front, sides and back of he cupboard shall be 18mm thick Prelaminated particle Board, Exterior grade, ISI marked and confirming to IS - 12823, Type - III with one side natural teak woode shade and other side balancing white lmination. 6 mm thick teak wood beading shall be provided to the exposed edges of Prelaminated Particle Board. (d) Teakwood frame of 25 x 20mm section shall be provided all-round mirror. 5mm thick mirror of approved make duly electro copper plated on back of size as shown on drawing shall be provided. Ply wood, BWR Grade, Type 'AA', ISI marked of thickness indicated in drawing shall be provided as back for mirror as shown in drawing. (e) Cupboard : Front, sides and back of the cupboard shall be 18 mm thick and bottom of cuopboard shall be 12mm thick Prelaminated Particle Board, Exterior grade, ISI Marked and confirming to IS-12823, Type-III with one side natural teakwood shade and other side balancing white lamination. (f) Drawer : Front of the drawer shall be 18mm thick and sides & back of drawer shall be 12 mm thick Prelaminated Particle Board, Exterior grade, ISI marked and confirming to IS - 12823, Type-III with one side natural teak woode shade an other side balancing white lamination. Bottom of the drawer shall be 6 mm thick ply. 2 Nose telescopic channels shall be provided for smooth running of drawer. 6 mm thick teakwood beading shall be provided to the exposed edges of Prelaminated Particle Board.

(g) Stool : All four sides of the stool shall be 18mm thick Prelaminated Particle Board, Exterior grade, ISI marked and confirming to IS - 12823, Type-III with one side natural teakwoode shade and otehr side balancing white lamination. 6 mm thick teakwood beading shall be provided to the exposed edges of Prelaminated Particle Board. Bottom of stool shall be 6 mm thick commercial ply as openable shutter. 75 mm thick foam cushion of 40 density covered with leatherette RExene superior quality cost not less than Rupees 500.00 per metere shall be provided over top shutter as shown on drawing. Colour and texture of Rexene shall be as approved by GE. Heavy duty revolving double wheels of best quality shall be provided to bottom of stool as approved by the GE. (h) All exposed surfaces of timber shall be melamine finished with Matt Finish. (j) The builders hardware items such as knobs, handles, piano hinges, magnetic catches, screws etc., shall be stainless steel. The dia of knob shall be 25 mm, the handle shall be 75 mm long and the hinge shall be piano type. (k) All the plywood faces exposed to view when placed in position, nside of cupboard and drawers shall be laminated with 1.0 mm thick Decorative Laminated Sheet of first quality of shade and texture as approved by the GE. (l) Rest all shall be as per drawing.

TABLE CENTRE (FD-274) (a) Timber. All timber work shall be of first class hard wood (Teak wood). (b) Particle board. 18/19mm thick commercial particle board bonded with phenol formaldehyde as per ISI shall be provided with teak wood edging all around. (c) Laminated sheet. 1.5mm thick laminated sheet of teak veneer shade shall be fixed over the particle board with fevicol. (d) Wooden stiffner. One additional wooden stiffener of first class hard wood of size 40mm x 20mm shall be provided to connect both sides of the stiffener. (e) Rings. Hard PVC rings screwed under legs. (f) Polish. All exposed surface of wood work shall be Melamine polished. (g) All other details / fitting shall be shown on the drawing.

PEG TABLE (FD-384) Supply only Peg Table (a) Legs,rails,edging shall be of 1st class hard wood (teak wood) free from knots. (b) Top to be made of 18mm thick melamine faced prelaminated particle board decorated one side type-I exterior grade. (c) All joints/fixing shall be done in accordance with standard wormanship and specifications. (d) 4 mm thick teak wood edging around top shall be provided. (g) All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be Melamine polished with high gloss finish. (h) Hard rubber/PVC shoe shall be provided at bottom of all legs. SOFA SET 05 PERSONS (FD-281) (a) All as shown on drawing. (b) Overall size of three seat piece shall be 1730mm long,745mm wide and 530mm high up to arm rest level. (c) Overall size of one piece shall be 670mm long,745mm wide and 530mm high up to arm rest level. (d) The Sofa Set to seat five shall consist of one large three seat piece and two small one seat piece. (e) All wood shall be of first class hard wood (Teak wood) free from knots. (f) 100mm thick seat cushions and back cushions shall be of size 530mmx560mm (three numbers in seat and threenumbers in the back for the large seat. SOFA SET 04 PERSONS (FD-281) (a) All as shown on drawing. (b) Overall size of two seat piece shall be 1200 mm long,745mm wide and 530mm high up to arm rest level. (c) Overall size of one piece shall be 670mm long,745mm wide and 530mm high up to arm rest level. (d) The Sofa Set to seat four shall consist of one large two seat piece and two small one seat piece. (e) All wood shall be of first class hard wood (Teak wood) free from knots. (f) 100mm thick seat cushions and back cushions shall be of size 530mmx560mm (two numbers in seat and two numbers in the back for the large seat. RECEPTACLE PVC SMALL 20 LTR (FD/E6/MAP/13) (a) PVC receptacle with lid and handle shall be of polymer plastic of shape and all size as shown on drawing. (b) These shall be of branded Cello, Brite, Neelkamal, Blowplast, Godrej, Durian, Style and Spa.

TABLE WRITING (FD-275) (a) All wooden member viz, rails, stiffeners,, bearer, stopper, drawer back, sides,edginh etc shall be of first class hard wood (teak wood). (b) All joints/fixing shall be done in accordance with standard workmanship and specifications. (c) The top shall be of 18 mm Pre-laminated particle board melamine faced veneered decorated both side exterrior grade with 4mm thick teak wood edgin alround the top and fixed with suitable screw. (d) Hard PVC ring shall be provided to bottom of all legs with suitsble screw. (e) All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be Melamine polished with high glows finish. NOTE: (a) Moisture Content Limitation: All Wood must comply permissible moisture content limits as per :SSR Part-I, and Relevant BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) codes. (b) Use of Teak Wood: Teak wood must be sourced from BIS-compliant or government-authorized depots or suppliers (authorized dealer).Relevant certification or proof of authenticity must be submitted along with the supply. (c) Quality and Matching of Hardwood-Use of first class Hardwood: Only first class hardwood is to be used,ensuring consistent size, colour,and grain and free from defects like knots,sapwood, and cracks.Uniformity across item:Supplied furniture items must show uniformity in material,finish and craftsmanship across the entire consignment. (d) Polishing of wooden Items: (i) Surface Preparation:Surface must be properly finished,any imperfections such as bore holes or dents,must be filled with high-quality wood putty. (ii) Sanding: Surfaces must be sanded progressively using various grits of sand/emery paper to ensure a super – smooth finish.Each stage,including after the sealer coat,must be sanded thoroughly.

(iii) Sealer Application:Apply one coat of high-quality wood sealer to seal the grain.Let it dry,then perform light sanding to prepare for polishing. (iv) Melamine Polish (High Gloss) : Final polishing shall be done using melamine polish in a high-gloss finish.The result should be even,glossy and free from streaks, patches,or dull spots. (v) All polishing and paint work shall be completed at the BSO Yard.The process must be carried out strictly under the supervision of the Engineer-in-Charge.No final polishing or painting is to be done at the contractor’s premises. (e) General Compliance Notes: (i) All timber used must be seasoned and of approved quality as per tender specifications. (ii) Samples must be approved by the department before the supply of material.The Contractor must follow all technical standards,material codes and instructions issued by the Engineer-in-Charge.Non-compliance with specifications or improper finishing will lead to rejection and possible penalities as per contract terms.
