CIVIL WORK

Fencing Work Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetations grass, bush, wood trees and saplings of girth upto 30 cm. Measured at a height of 1 metre above ground level & removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of area cleared.

Excavation in Foundation in ordinary soil (Loam clay, or sand) including lift upto 1.5 metre (5 fts.) and lead upto 30 m (100 fts) & including filling, watering and ramming of excavated earth into the trenches or into the space between the bullding and the sides of foundation trenches or into the plinth and removal and disposal of surplus earth as directed by the Engineer-in-charge upto a distance of 30 m. (100 fts) from the foundation trenches. As in item no. (251) above but excavation in soil mixed with moorum/shingle/kankar requiring the use of special T&P such as pickaxes, sabbals etc.

Disposal of surplus earth / malwa cartage upto 8Km etc all complete.

Concrete with 4 cm (1.5'') gauge brick ballast fine local sand of 1.25 Fineness modulous and cement in Proportion of 12:6:1 in foundation and under floors including supply of all materials labour and T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work.

Cement concrete with 20 mm gauge approved stone ballast, approved coarse sand and cement in the proportion of 4:2:1 including supply of all materials, labour and T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work.

Providing and fixing G.I. chain link fabric fencing of required width in mesh size 50x50 mm including strengthening withMade of G.I. wire of dia 4 mm, PVC coated to achieve outer dia not less than 5 mm in required colour and shade mm dia wire or nuts, bolts and washers as required complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Mild steel or iron work in heavy sizes such as trusses; builts up gates, door frames, record racks roof work, glltes etc. wrought to required form including drilling holes; rivetting or welding where necessary, and also including supply of steel, bolts, nuts etc. & their fixing required for proper completion of the work. . 80mm (3'') outer dia ms pipe medium (A-class) 4.85mm thickness @ 10.10 kg per mtr its fixing required for proper completion of work. SI no. 503

Two coat Painting or Varnishing on iron works in small areas or new wood work with one coat of ready mixed priming paint & one coat of approved superior quality ready mixed paint of clear synthetic varnish including supply of all materials, labour and T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work. Paint to be used should confirm to the I.S.I.No. 103- 1950

Earth work in cutting or in Filling in ordinary soil, excavation to be in the form of regular pits not exceeding 1/2 metre (20'') in depth and earth work in 8 m bankment to be in 20 cm(8'') layors, including ramming & dressing the surface to required levels and slopes and also including 1.5 metre (5fts) lifts and 30 m. (100') lead. The earth from cutting to be used in making filling or to be deposited as spoii banks within 30 metres (100 fts) distance as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
