Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m width and not exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out for laying of pipes etc in soft/loose soil .

Returning filling in including spreading levelling watering and ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil soil.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr where directed and at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point.

M & L for taking up unserviceable cast iron CI/DI/MS water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints/tyton joints of any size all as specified and dirercted by Engr-in-Charge of following sizes :-. (a) 80 mm bore.

(b) 100 mm bore.

( c) 150 mm bore.

(d) 200 mm bore.

(e) 250 mm bore.

(f) 300 mm bore.

Supply and lay DI pipe centrifugally cast of class K-7 with spigot and socket ends suitable for tyton joints including rubber gasket for the following sizes. (a) 80 mm bore.

(b) 100 mm bore.

( c) 150mm bore

(d) 200mm bore

(e) 250 mm bore.

(f) 300 mm bore.

Supply and Fixing for cast iron sluice valve incl new rubber gasket, nuts and bolts etc and dismentling of existing unserviceable one of folowing sizes:- Make : Kirloskar/Upadhyay/Kejriwal (a) 80 mm bore.

(b) 100 mm bore.

( c) 150 mm bore.

(d) 200 mm bore.

(e) 250 mm bore.

Material and labour for fixing DI specials such as bends(any type, radius and angle),tappers any type, (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) tee pieces single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps & plugs of sizes :- (a) Upto 150 mm bore .

(b) Above 150 mm bore upto 300mm bore.

M&L for in repair/rectification of leakage in existing rising/delivery CI Pipe Spigot/ socketed end including necessary earth work (i.e. excavation, removal & refilling, of trench), Pumping out water from the ditch and rectify the defects by taking out of existing lead and rejoining the same by using necessary additional lead, Lead Wool, Spun Yarn & etc including testing, commissioning of CI Pipe line complete all as directed. (Spun yarn & other arrangement for rectification of said defects is included in the cost of item complete). for the following sizes: (a) 50/80 mm bore.

(b) 100 mm bore.

(c) 150 mm bore.

(d) 200 mm bore.

(e) 250 mm bore.

Supply and fix gun metal gate valve with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed of following sizes incl taking down and removal from site:- (a) 15 mm dia

M & L for motorized Augring/drilling under the road at 60CM depth of dia suitable to pass pipe upto 300mm dia and all directed by EIC.

Supply and laying in replacement for Bib tap of 15 mm dia chromium plated with fancy type suitable to fix with iron pipe or furrel and all as directed by EIC.

Replacement of u/s PVC float valve , high pressure, with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule of size 20 mm bore. Make-Paragon/Polytuff

Dismantling of stone massonary valve chamber of any size and pattern and at any position and construction of valve chamber with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate stone massonary built in cement mortar 1:6 with plastering of 10mm thickness internally and 15mm thickness externally above and below ground level with PCC flooring & cooping of 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate incl frame made of angles iron of size 40mm x 40mm x 5mm matches with the internal size of the valve chamber and chamber cover made of MS sheet of 3.0mm thickness incl MS hinge and painting the steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer incl necessary earth work, excavation etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge of the following sizes:- (a) 450 x 450 x 600 mm

(b ) 900 x 600 x 1000mm

(c) 1350 x 1000 x 1200mm

M & L for refixing of Sluice valve 80 mm bore after taking out, of valve spindle,re grinding, including taking part and reassembling, as per existing and complete scaling and proper functioning at site including replacement of nuts, bolts, washers and gasket as required at site.

Taking out unserviceable non return valves from the pumping/distribution of raw/treated water line and removing from the site. Supply, fixing and testing Non return valve/reflux valve of 15 Kg/Cm2 body pressure and 10 kg/cm2 seat pressure suitable for 150 mm dia flanged type all as directed. Make : Normax/BIR/KIRLOSKAR

S&F in replacement CI air release valve with two air outlets, 80mm dia bore and fixing up in cast iron/ DI water supply mains complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair of CI / DI pipe line with push tyton rubber joint type including taking up/down, excavation, returning filling and removal of excavated soil near pipe line of size as mentioned below in break down maint of raising main line / distribution line. Providng any type of special tools & plants such as JCB & materials (such as detechable joints / leak repair clamp suitable for CI / DI fittings , coller/short piece of pipes or any other fittings as required to minimise the breakdown time and rectification of the problem as soon as posible. Rectification work must be start within two hours of intimation to contractor. Any delay in rectification may be penalised as deemed fit:- (a) 100 mm bore

Supply and fix LRC joint for repairing the leakage of DI pipe at spigot socket end incl bailing out the line water as required for the following sizes:- (a) 80 mm

Laying only the CI pipe centrifugally cast of class- A with spigot and socket ends suitable for rubber tyton joint, the C.I. pipe will be issued under Sch 'B' items issued from AGE E/M-II store yard for the following sizes.(a) 150 mm bore

M & L for sluice valves of size from 100mm dia upto 300 mm dia, complete all way keep in no leakage condition including i.e. excavation,removal and refilling of trenches). Pumpimg out water from the ditch and rectify the deffects by taking out of existing spares ie rubber gasket / fibre sheet, nut & bolt etc and rejoining the same by using new one incl testing, commissioning of valve complete all as directed at site and complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- All spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ (ii) The spares should be suitable to as per existing model/make. (iii) The rates for replacement of spare are deemed to be included on this item.
