Providing Water Proofing Treatment with Tarfelt on RCC Slabs of E- Type Quarters (38 Nos) in HSL Colony

Providing and lay water proofing treatment consisting of: (i) thorough cleaning of existing RCC roof slab (ii) Application of priming coat of compatible bituminous primer Sika WP shield Primer [email protected] Sqm over the cleaned and prepared roof surface complete as per satisfaction of the Engineer-Incharge (iii) Providing and laying STP (Shalimar) or Sika Atactic Ploypropylene Polyme (APP) modified layer prefabricated waterfproofing membrane with thermal fusible properties on both side and having minimum thickness 3.0mm and unit weight not less than 4.0kg/Sqm reinforces with nonwoven spun bonded polyster reinforcement @ 160gm/Sqm, <-50C cold flexiblity. The layer of the membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints properly, leaving no bare edge or end of APP membrane and finishing the surface with trowel or otherwise to obtain a uniform surface. The minimum side lap and end lap shall be kept at 75mm and 100mm respectively. The membrane shall be laid over a coat of bituminous primer @ 0.300kg/ltr per sqm made by the same membrane manufacture after necessary surface preparatory works such as claning the surface etc., Complete all as directed.
