Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning R.C.C. Circular underground/ partially under ground / Over head storage tanks as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in all kinds and types of strata, soil strata including dewatering in M30 design mix in foundation, walls, bottom slab , roof slab/dome with smooth finishing in 1:3 inside the tank, all alied Civil Works, Site development, cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils, C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls, refilling and disposing of surplus stuff with in all leads and lifts, labour and material charges. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe proper manifiold at outlet including all fittings, bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside ventilator with mosquito proof wire mesh,lightening arrester complete ,SFRC manhole covers including frames and covers (medium duty) with proper locking arrangement water level indicator, RCC frames for all valves ventilating shafts shall also be provided including all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness all works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves & other accessories shall be included in the rates of tanks . Battery Limit shall be considered as 3.00 m from the edge of the structure or the boundary of the land whichever is less.The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work i.c testing of bearing capacity at site . All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.The work shall include supplying of Five sets of structural design after testing the bearing capcity of soil and drawings, etc complete as directed by Engineer in charge as per relevent data sheet and scope of work.

Fencing work around all the civil works such as MBRs, SRs etc. barbered wire fencing over plinth wall of size 0.30x0.30 mtr. of CC 1:2:4 (M15) clear height will be 1.80 mtr with ISA 50x50x5 mm angle post @ 2.50 mtr centre to centre including with nine horizontal lines and two diagonal of Galvanised mild steel barbed wire confirming to IS:278-1962-type-1, weighting 9.38 Kg/100mtr minimum strained and fixed to post with proper fastening arrangement, The ISA post of 2.50 mtr. long shall be protected with using suitable primer and anti corrosive paint level difference at different points shall be suitabily taken care, so as to look asthetically good including cost of excavation, foundation concrete below ground level with C.C 1:3:6 size 0.40x0.40 mtr and providing and fixing of M.S. Gate of suitable size, whereever required complete in all respect in all leads and lifts & to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. ( Refer to Technical specification volume-II )
Fencing work around all the civil works with fencing pannel size 1.8X1.20 mts with jali 25X25mm welded to M.S black tube of 14gauge with M.S flate 20X3mm M.S hold fast embeded in brick massonry pillar 1.50m ht over 0.45mt ht. of CC 1:3:6 wall above ground . Size of Brick masonry pillar 0.35X0.35 mt . for intake structure and Pump Houses in both phases etc. including cutting, welding, painting proper fastening arrangements protected with using suitable primer and anti corrosive paint level difference at different points shall be suitabily taken care so as to look asthetically good including cost of excavation, foundation concrete , brick masonery , plastering in conc. wall and providing and fixing of M.S. Gate of suitable size complete in all respect in all leads and lifts & to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. ( Refer to Technical specification volume-II )
Construction of Thrust block , Anchor Blocks (for Rising mains) of requried sizes and supporting pillars in main conveyance . Firm has be evolve design and drawing as per actual site condition and got approved from competant authority.( Refer to Technical specification volume-II and Data sheet No.5 )
Excavation in foundations,trenches etc., in earth work, lift upto 1.50 mts. Stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 mts. Clear from the edge of the excavation & then returning the stacked soil in 15 cms. Layers,when required into plinths sides of foundation etc.,consolidating each deposited layers by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as dierected within all leads & lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.

WATER TREATMENT PLANT: Designing (aesthetically), Providing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning of Water Treatment Plant of 2.33 MLD Capacity at Orru morh and 1.42 MLD at Kurla for 16.00 Hours Pumping based on Rapid Sand Gravity Filteration, consiting of Civil works including Laboratory, Mechnical, Electrical and Instrumental Works including necessary hydraulic testing ,structural testing,equipment testing. The components such as site development,C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls upto battery limits of WTP, Dewatering, Approach Road, Inter-connecting Path, Walkway, Storm Water Drains, Scouring arrangement, Fencing, Beautification including all alied Works complete as directed by Engineer in charge. The Laboratory as per CPHEEO Manual shall be established at the WTP where separate Building for the same shall be constructed to house the laboratory equipment, office record including Furniture, office Computer complete in all respects. Excavation in foundation, trenches (for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , planking, timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers including consolidating of such deposoited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of Galvanized MSERW / GMS by circumferancial butt welded pipes with 5 % flanged joint in between ( cost of 5% flanged joints to be measured & paid seperately i.e in item No. 4 of BOQ) including cost of bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO:3183-2007 with steel grade ,L-360 X-52 , L-290 X-42,/ IS: 1239-1990 (Part-II) having wall thickness as specified below with plain end and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube.The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints and remaining 95% joints with butt welded joints as detailed below. The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments) duly welded in four layers (two inner and two outer) with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes confirming to BIS 1364 (with upto date ammendments). 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets confirming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe shall include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees,valves etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per IS:4736 -1986 (with upto date ammendments) with mass of zink coating not less than 360 gm/m2. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814:2004 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. Negative tolerance in thickness and mass/weight will not be accepted.Welding and fixing of M.S. flanges @ 5% of joints, conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with up to date amendments) . The welding of flanges should conform to IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364, the thicthness of gasket not less than 3.00 mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done as per entire satisfactio of Engineer- in- charge with in all leads and lifts. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches, flanged joints . The diameter and class / material of pipe are indicative. Since the re-survey and re-design of proposal / scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings are to be approved by the competent authority of the department. If there is any variation in size, material, class & wall thickness of pipe and jointing,valves,specials etc,the rates shall be worked out on prorata basis and will be paid accordingly. PUMPING MACHINERY: Supply Installation Testing & Commissioning with automation (to be paid separetely) of suitable Raw water submersible star rated energy efficent pumpset of recommended make such as Mather and Platt/KSB/ Beacon Weir/Kirlosker/BE/Jyoti as per BIS 1520-1980 with upto date ammendments capable of handling 3000 PPM turbidity conforming to latest BIS code. The pump shall be fitted with single vane impeller of suitable alloy for handling raw water as per IS 5669-1970 having oil/grease packed bearings and stainless steel shaft, wound stator on motor side with shaft protection sleeves on pump side ensuring better life for shaft . The impeller of pump shall be directly mounted on extended submersible motor confirming to BIS 9238-1979 with up to date amendments,totally dust and weather proof with detach able pump casing for easy inspection with double mechanical seal, grease/ oil lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand vertical loads with minimum wear and tear,It should be fitted with device to take up expanion of water on heating of motor & suitable for operation on 415 (+10% ) and ( -15% ) volts 3 Phase 50 C/S AC supply. Excavation in foundations and trenches (for pipes and pits) upto all depths etc. in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work and saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, blasting in soft/hard rock or chiseling or wedging out of same where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring strutting, planking timbering and dewatering wherever required, stacking usable and unusable material/soil separately and after laying jointing and testing of pipes, returning he usable soil in 15 cm layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed within all leads and lifts including restoration of unmetaled/ mattelled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion of traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Schedule A6- Automation
AUTOMATION: The tendered / firm shall provide proposals for automation (Wired/Non wired) to automize the entire scheme i.e from intake point up to MBR & SBR . Provision of automation shall be as per data sheet No-15 with main SCADA and control station at treatment plant at Orrumorh Phase-I and at Kurla Phase-II . GSM based devices shall be installed at each MBR & SBR of every stage in both phases which shall send messages through WEB SCADA stations at two offices and five Mobile Numbers. This data transmission system at each tank of pump station consists of field instruments for providing digital and analog signals to data transfer module. This module will have a communication to web data transfer system module communication. The PLC station will have control station with programmable graphic process, mimics, real time and historical trending face plate and group display, alarm management and report with Laser Jet printers and required furniture. Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done.The firm / contractor will provide the Bulk metering at Water Treatment Plants. The automation of the entire scheme upto Sector storage tank shall also include the followings : (a) At intake point : Provision shall be kept for automatic flow measurement and flow control with quality measurement turbidity in (b) Water Treatment Plant at Orrumorh Phase-I and at Kurla Phase-II. Fully automatized operation including alum dosing and back washing and chlorination from inlet to out let along with automatic sensor for Turbidity, pH and Residual chlorine) (c) Storage Water Tanks at lifting station:-Automatic Inlet and Out Let through single out flow pipe (common header), Low and high level sensor along with all required accessories. It should also include telecommunication comprising of required numbers of connections as per actual requirement at site. The automation system installed at above/aforesaid locations should be theft proof and proper ventilation arrangements be made complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in Charge.The firm/contactor shall submit complete proposal for automation and got approved from competent authority, along with presentation .Firm/Cont. has to incorperate all the inputs and outputs suggested by the Deptt. in the SCADA system to automized the entired scheme from intake point to all sector storage tanks as per relevant data sheet No-14 and scope of work.
Schedule B1- Operation and Maintenance
Operation & maintenance of entire scheme from Intake point to tail end of the scheme in proper working conditions Rising Mains,Gravity mains and Distribution system , all structures, , Main Pump houses, , Under ground storage Reservoirs & Nos Over Head Storage Reservoir including Yard light, at various sites complete in all respect in proper working condition for a period of 5 years starting after successful testing of scheme for 90 days . O&M includes provision of regular i.e. daily supplying of designed/required quantity of potable water having water quality as per CPHEEO manual of water supply to the beneficiaries of the scheme upto main storage /delivery tank from above mentioned sources i.e. Intake & Storage tanks at different locations as per plan and repair & maintenance of Main lines, Gravity lines and entire distribution system along with maintenance of automised system of scheme. Regular maintenance of all the facilities including cleaning , washing, oiling and greasing repairs, replacement of worn out/damaged parts of pumping machinery, pipe line, valves and electrical, Mechanical equipments, regular cleaning of all structure like Storage tanks, collection/distribution chambers, pump houses etc and disposal of same as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge, fixing/repairing leakage in civil structures, channels, pipe lines, pumping machinery etc. proper disinfection of treated water and regular testing of water samples at required stages of treatment and lift, keeping regular and proper record of water quantity and quality, time and hour of run of pumping machinery, repair and maintenance of all works,removal of all kind of slips, slush, up rooting of unwanted grass, shrubs, weeds etc. growing near the structures and keeping the area neat and clean to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, planting and maintaining plants/flowers/trees around the pump house, WTP , Main & Sector storage tanks / Intake etc. as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including the cost of procurement of adequate and proper tools and plants, skilled and unskilled manpower, spare parts, oil/grease/lubricants, chemicals (Except bleaching powder) instruments, equipments, stationery and any other material etc. required for O&M excluding the cost of energy charges. All the operation shall be carried out as per the CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment (latest addition) HP PWD/IPH specification, directions issued by Engineer-in-Charge from time to time and sound Engineering practice. The chlorine gas shall be provided by the contractor itself . ( Refer to Technical specification volume-II and Data sheet No.13)
