PROVISION OF WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS FOR WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATION AND MISC WORKS AT SYL UNDER GE UTILITY AMBALA CANTT

Supply only chlorination chemical (calcium hypochlorite) available chlorine highly efficient (high strength) calcium based granular disinfectant more stable in sealed container of 45 Kgs, nil sodium/iron/mercury/heavy metal contaminations complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) The contractor has to produce purchase vouchers of calcium based granular disinfectant. (ii) The calcium based granular disinfectant shall be brought at site in sealed plastic container of appropriate capacity. (iii) The brand of chemical shall be approved by GE based on specification given in tender documents before supply.

Supply only of liquid chlorine gas filled in 100 Kgs capacity gas cylinder (Empty Gas Cylinder with control valve, safety cap and connected necessary fittings shall be provided by the Deptt). Note: (i) The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of testing of each cylinder for any leakage/defects. (ii) The defective part such as cylinder control valve/industrial chlorine valve with safety seal nut, safety cap, valve Key etc replaced shall be measured & paid separately under respective items as under mentioned. (iii) Contracor shall provide test certificate of each gas cylinders after filling the emptied cylinder. (iv) Item rate includes Techno valve/ control valve, MS caps with seal, cylinder valve keys need to be replaced should be done by contractor at no cost basis and nothing extra shall be paid.

Supply only chloring gas filled cylinder of capacity 100 kgs with control valve, safety cap and other necessary connected items.

Supply only Alum Crystal Contains balanced amount of ferric, purity, longer shelf life high effectiveness, accurate composition and precise ph value (i) Alumina 12-15% (ii) Insolvable matter 2-4 max (iii) iron 0.5-1(iv) ph of 5% solution 2.9 and colour-Grey/Brown he each container shall be legiblly & indelibly marked or lebelled with the following (i) Name of Product (ii) Grade (For chlorinated lime) (iii) Name and address of the manufacturer and/or local distributor (Including country of origin) (iv) Trade mark and net mass of the contents in kilograms.

M&L for dressing of ground by cutting / removing vegetation, scrapping, clearing of all grass, shrubs, bushes, weeds, trees and saplings not exceeding 30cm in girth (measured at a height of 1m above the ground level) in entire SYL area (SYL phase I and II) by deploying jungle jims with tractors with operators including fuel, lubricant,required T &P etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) 01No. jungle jim, 01No. tractor, with operators shall be measured as one unit. Payment shall be made as per Log Book duly singed by Engr- in - Charge/JE. (ii) Cut grass/bushes/vegetation, etc. shall be removed inside or outside SYL area and or as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (iii) Contractor shall provide jungle jim with Tractor and operater as and when asked. If contractor failed to provide with in stipulated period, a penalty shall be imposed @ Rs 200 per hour.

M&L for dressing of ground by cutting / removing vegetation, scrapping, clearing of all grass, shrubs, bushes, weeds, trees and saplings not exceeding 30cm in girth (measured at a height of 1m above the ground level) in entire SYL area (SYL phase I and II) by operator with bush grass cutter , 02 No. bush grass cutter with 02 operator will be provided including fuel, lubricant, etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Payment shall be made as per Log Book duly signed by JE/Engr-in-Charge. Further 02 Nos bush grass cutter with 02 operator shall be measured as one unit. (ii) Cut grass/bushes/vegetation, etc. shall be removed inside or outside SYL area and or as directed. (iii) 02 No. bush grass cutter with 02 operator shall be provided with fuel and all machinery by contrator one for each SYL phase I and II. If contractor failed to provide with in stipulated period, a penalty shall be imposed @ Rs 50 per hour per bush grass cutter.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of centrifugal pump set with induction motor 20 HP , 1450 RPM, 415 volt, 50Hz coupled with horizontal split casing type pump, 15000GPH water discharge, 200 foot head fitted on Iron base frame complete with mandatory accessories etc. complete. Note : - Item rate includes all piping arrangement, valves of any kind, cable and its connections required to make pump working,M&L for foundation with change heavy duty Mild steel channel (Mild steel channel size not less then ISMC 125mm thickness 8mm appx.) complete for pump motor set including PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded aggregate) staging size not less then 2.5x1.05x1.0Mtr for surface channels including plaster for above surface, welding work, frame work, Nut & Bolt of suitable size as per old, finishing of staging, leveling and painting, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts of any shape and sizes with hold fast arrangement each for pumping set complete at no extra cost basis and item rate includes entire cost to be paid to contractor and all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Supply in replacement chlorine gas mask with canister complete with oxygen supporting equipment all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Complusory to execute this item by contractor else penalty of Rs. 1000 per unit shall be imposed on contractor.

Supply in replacement of rubber / PVC hand gloves to handle chlorine gas/ liquid all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster of any description,thickness and in any position including raking out joints,hacking for key,scrubbing down with water etc. Complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:6) on surface of any description of brick or concrete and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement and three coat of white wash including preparation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar incl all quoins, arches, pillars, in any situation etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Notes for Srl item No. 15 & 16:- (i) Rate including all items required for supply, installing, testing and commissioning of LT panel such as any no. of contactor of suitable capacity required in Star delta starter, Time relay, Single phase preventor, Single pole MCB required for safety, Thimbles, End joining kit, Cable of any size required to make necessary connections with LT panel etc complete all. (ii) The quoted rate shall include minor items such as Lugs, Nuts & Bolts, Washers, Top Insulators, Sleeves, Provision of extra holes in busbar etc. (iii) All internal wiring shall be done with suitable size of PVC insulated solid copper conductor FRLS cable conforming to IS-694. (iv) Panel drawing shall be got approved before placing of order from GE/Engr-in-Charge. (v) The bus connection for cable from main bus bar to outgoing MCCB will be connected through suitable rating bus bar strip type duly insulated. Cable will be entered panels through land. (vi) Cost of making description and matter on the front door as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge is including in quoted rate.

M & L in repair for Mild steel framed works such as grills, gratings etc with ends of bars, shouldered and / or rivetted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings;frame works of water tank and similar work confirming to Fe-290 (Gde E- 165) including nuts, bolts, washer, welding, binding, cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint as specified and directed by Engineers-in-Charge.

Dismantling and taking down old u/s earthing and Material & labour for new earthing complete with galvanised earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mmx 6.00mm thick surrounded by charcoal and salt, buried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25m below ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to 32x6 mm GI strip earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, checks nut and washers made out of galvanized iron or steel, earth wire protected by galvanized steel pipe 40mm bore medium grade and connected to main switch or main control board all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I & including necessary excavation and earth work. The rate also include charcoal & salt in alternate layers, 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade for watering and 40mm bore GI protection pipe (light grade), funnel, wire mesh, cast iron cover and frame etc, complete, all as specified or indicated and as directed including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The quoted rate shall include the cost of earth work, GI pipe for watering, GI protection pipe, funnel, wire mesh, RCC cover, etc. complete. RCC cover shall be 50mm thick in 1:2:4 type B-1 using 8mm bars @10cm c/c both way. (ii) The quoted rate shall include the cost of the earth pit covers to be conspicuously marked of plate with stand grouted in PCC. (iii) On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is more than 2Ώ the earthing will be redone at no extra cost

Note:- Amount of credit of Rs 33670.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit attached in tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
